Everyone should start in the Wailing Prison, I teaches the mechanics of the game much better than any other starter quest and is the closest thing this game has to a proper tutorial.
Of course a tutorial explaining mechanics in depth would be far better. I recently met a cp600 who thought the more gear pieces you had of a set, the more powerful the bonuses would be -_-

I'm sure they can match the looks to the other menus and write more interesting flavor text. It wouldn't take much dev time - just another menu - and all of the quests are still in the game.
Anyway, that way we could play any tutorial we want. After all, they did pay the actors to record those lines, so it's a pity that nobody can go back to them. And then they could give a free skill point to anyone who chooses to tstart the MQ so they also don't lose out on a skill point.
Besides, this could also be 'consumer-friendly' enough to add a "Buy now!" button next to the chapters you don't have.
I actually didn't buy Elsweyr and one of my reasons for not doing so was because I'd lose my tutorial...as if that matters since not I ended up getting Greymoor. If they're expecting a bunch of new players coming in, it'd help to have something like this so the new players can figure out the story...especially if they're expecting a lot of people like me who are coming from Skyrim since we have Elder Scrolls withdrawal and are much more interested in the story than the MMO part of this game.
