moving ESO to different drive

My SSD drive has 75 gigs of space on it, so its enough to hold ESO but not enough to install it (the installer wants 125 gigs or something).

To get around this I'm trying to install ESO on my regular HD, then copy the whole folder over. This sort of works, I can run the eso64 client. However when I try to run the launcher - which I'll need for patches - it gets stuck and gives an error 210 - cannot download patch manifest. I'm not sure how to fix this.

I saw this link, and I've tried creating the symbolic link in the old location but no joy so far.

Also incase you're wondering, it is recognizing the documents folder. It's getting the user settings & addons from it fine.

    Suspicous.
It is important, that the symlink results in the old location. It is not made in the old location.
So you may have to create the symlink in the parent folder.
    Maybe that is the problem?

I should be trying to solve this, but for now the game itself is working and I'd rather spend my time playing ... 😋
