Public Dungeon Boss Farming...

    Well the timer cant be long tho, u can esaly run from 1 boss to a second dungeon boss. And i cant see em stoping that. 3 min or so tops

    There are some things that do seem very off with a diminished return system on bosses, the thing is that it would block the ability to run several dungeons in short succession. The second is, that the named drop from a boss is not guaranteed and if you have bad luck you might need X number of tries to get it and why do you want to block normal players from that? That is one of the worst game decissions ever.

    If you want to go the way of diminishing the loot for multiple kills, then make the named item from bosses drop more often and make them unique, so players can only get one of them.

    That,or make the boss give almost no XP and make the achievement for clearing the dungeon gives the XP and the blue loot from the boss.

    That way, people would have no reason to farm ONE dungeon for an indefinite amount of time. Let the boss drop no ''special'' loot other than quest drop,soul gems and SOMETIME whites.

    That, or make it harder and scale, but anyone who played a game with scaling (GW2 anyone?) know that scaling can be a pain in the ... if there are AFK in the vicinity.

    Having just attained Veteran Status and noticing the extra button that I can click on my group to make a dungeon a Veteran dungeon, why can't we have a third button in our group tab that allows us to get a private instance?

    I like this game because of the lack of economy. I love no auction house, I love that everything can be gotten during normal play and that crafting is just better than looting. Farming is fine and I wish that they would have used a different solution, like making the bosses scale with number of players. That would have created some pretty epic fights.

    I can understand being put off by not getting the chivoes that players seem addicted to, but really getting kill credit is easy or people wouldn't do it to farm in the first place right?

    id also admit i have farmed a boss here and there due to the loot i can extract , i think the best approach is the suggested 3 time kill benefit limit OR, for them to react better and faster to removing BOTs. Bots are annoying no matter what they do, gold spamming, farming, i am still astonished by how there are actually so many in a game that you need to pay a sub and get the game, you would think it would keep out most of them .

    yes farming is inevitable , im not sure about all players but after at least the 10th boss kill i am bored and don't see any point of wasting my time in a dungeon when i can go outside and do quests,( and later on PvP)

    as a player id suggest we all Report bots whenever we can, the more reports the more they will notice.

    another way of finding out who is a bot is to find a mob, then drag that mob in front of the bot, if the bot only attacks it when the mob is in front of the line in which the boss spawns, its a bot, if it moves from its position to its left or right or behind to help you out then its a player if it doesn't do anything even with another mob in its face, id say an AFK player or one that just doesn't care about helping you

    i think the difficulty of the boss should change relative to the amount of people in the dungeon, that way the more bots , the harder the boss is.

    also if the boss can do a knockback on spawn that would help

    Dunno if it's a side effect of the mass bannings today.. but in the couple of public dungeons I've been in this evening, the weren't any botters/boss farmers.. perhaps they've done something right for once?

    I also notice a severe drop in the amount of boss farmers in a public dungeon I visited in Grahtwood yesterday. It made for a much more involving experience.

    I extremely hope that it was down to ZOS taking action against these botters instead of being just a coincidence.
