ESO Account / Xbox and PC

Hi everyone,

In light of the free-to-play event going on in 10 hours, I would like to download the game on PC and ask my friends to try the game. I already have the ESO account, linked with my xbox however I couldn’t find the Account page of where to download the game / link with PC or download the base game for PC from there.

Question: do I need to wait until the free-to-play goes live, or do I need to create a new ESO account, meaning I can’t use the same ESO account for both Xbox and PC...?

I hope I’m not confusing anyone hihi thank you :)

    Unfortunately, there are no console transfers to PC, @veroxiousvemo.

    So, yes, you would be creating a new PC ESO account for F2P.

    I was thinking keeping both xbox and pc account. Meaning I would play with my RL friends on PC and also play on Xbox.

    How’s lockdown treating you? I’m bored staying at home lol
