Wasn’t it stated that champion point system was being looked at for a rework because of how much of a gap it causes. They have spent all this time coming up with what looks like a terrible change to combat instead of addressing the actual issue.

Your so wrong. Did you watch the livestream of hodor doing vmol hm with varying cp. The amount of extra mitigation you get is insane, they could barely complete with 300cp if memory serves me right. The issue with all the mitigation is you can build all damage then and no mitigation where if cp was changed you’d have to build less damage. Pvp can be awful over cp too.
