And now they're telling us that the change only happened because the coding effort was too big to keep the silence in the game.

Ok forum ape
So we got a change in an incremental patch that has been wanted for almost a year now after incap lost its stun and got an awkward silence.
Countless posts emerged saying it's a bad debuff and often becomes a detriment for the Nightblade.
But those post were ignored for all this time.
I haven't seen the Devs publicly stating that they absolutely don't care about our feedback since them saying casttimes aren't liked by the majority of the player base but they'll keep them.
And now they're telling us that the change only happened because the coding effort was too big to keep the silence in the game.
Now we can only pray that patches in the future male casttimes impossible so every single skill loses them and we once again have a somewhat reactive gameplay in pvp
Old, as if maybe in 1.6 or something. Back then it costed 50 ulti and and had stun & defile. On the other hand, it could still be dodged & blocked.GeorgeBlack wrote: »The old incap was overloaded
Curious if the bug only affected the incap silence or also other sources of silence. Negate just too good to lose to a nerf! Still good that incap got its stun back.

Pre - Elsweyr Incap (Murkmire - Wrathstone) was fine imho. It had 70 ulti cost and stun at 120, but no cast time.
But wait...
*Looks at Blastbones*
^ The old Incap was Underperforming
Anyway, the biggest tragedy imho is that NB was nerfed hard last year, just push ppl to use Necro. It is hard not to see that.
Tbh. If you are Sorc, Templar, DK or basically "any" base game class main - stuff like that should not happen. To nerf base game stuff, just to push new content. Sadly though, it still happens (Ice Heart set for example).
So be careful what you ask for. Ppl for example ask for new class, lets say Monk. Monk will probably mean Templar heavy nerfs. So keep that in mind, when asking for new stuff.

Will they revert it once they "fix" the conflict with Silence?
Nightblade
Assassination
Incapacitating Strike: This Ultimate no longer stun the target, but instead silence them for 3 seconds if cast with 120 or more Ultimate. This change was primarily done to fix an issue where the target affected by the stun was still be able to move.
