Looking for smaller casual guild

Hello all! I'm looking for a smaller guild. I'm a casual player and usually only get to play for an hour or two a day. I'm in my 30's, married and have a full time job where I work anywhere from 5am to 11pm so my gaming hours vary from day to day. I've played a few other MMO's and a couple of other TES games. I do some crafting in game, and would like to do some group runs with people, but mostly I solo PvE. I've done a bit of PvP in other games, so I'll probably try it out here as well. My main character is a High Elf Sorcerer in AD, but I'm willing to switch it up if need be.

I'd like to throw my guild in the hat: Mages Guild Dropout. Most of us are either working, or going to school. Some of us are doing both, and a few of us have families. So we understand the demands of all them. We are not hardcore but we do plan on raiding/events PvE and some PvP. We are rolling with Ebonheart Pact right now and we have just started an alliance with a Auction House guild so we can unload all that junk in our bags and make some gold.

Although our members are primarily AD based, we are a multifaction guild and welcome players from the other alliances. Hi there blends, Im Ghastly, the guild leader of <Grin>

<Grin> is a casual guild of friendly players, many of whom have been in "top tier" guilds in previous games, but want a friendlier environment with less strict of a schedule. We have a solid core of members who've played together throughout the beta. We even won "runner up" in the beta guild contest, with a member-base of roughly 200 beta testers, though with the EU/US split we are currently around 100 in-game, and do not plan to grow much larger. We are actively running groups in both PvE and PvP, and while we will be doing "end game" content as a guild, are not "hardcore" and events will always be optional.

Our members come from all backgrounds, and we welcome gamers of all types. At just about any given time of the day, or night, our teamspeak has a group of friendly players chatting and having a good time.

Our rules are fairly basic:

1) Teamwork above all else. Through teamwork, everything else comes naturally.

2) Bigotry of any kind will absolutely not be tolerated. We have members from all backgrounds, and we enjoy our diverse community.

3) You must download teamspeak3. You do not have to talk, or even own a mic, but it will be required for any pvp or pve guild groups and events.

4) No spamming or scamming.

We prefer players who are 18 or older.

I find some of the aggressive recruiting quite funny as it seems they are not even reading what the original poster is looking for. "Smaller Casual guild" and he is offered guild with over 200 members where there is rules of Teamwork and must have Teamspeak etc.

Well, "In Dulce Decorum" definitely is casual and smaller - we have exactly 10 members right now, and our guild chat is what ties us together. Our members have characters varying from level 3 to 31, and it seems we enjoy exploring and crafting at least as much as pve. Can't say we're doing much with pvp, but that's no hindrance to any individual member of course. Whatever suits you!

We're on the North American server, with most characters evenly split between Aldmeri Dominion and Daggerfall Covenant. Yes, some of us are altoholics and have multiples. [I need to make a 6th character tomorrow, I think. Got another idea that sounds good in theory...].

Give us a whisper if you're interested. We're mostly an older guild made up of family people, and our guild chat shows as much: relaxed, mature, and PG-13. You can find me as @makarion .

@Blends, if you are still seeking a good guild, Crimson Wing may be what you are after. We accept no more than 100 members in any of our branches, in our Code of Ethics we state clearly that real life comes before video games, and most our members are around your age with responsibilities.

We are on the NA server, Aldmeri Dominion
We have been around since 1996, and our members are loyal to one another
Our rules are very simple and common sense
We understand people have significant others and lives, and therefor everything is optional
Many of the people in our guild are married or gaming couples
We are what we jokingly refer to as casual hardcore, and are here to have fun

@Syntse Yes, I know. Although I keep on the lookout for people who need a guild, I actually read the messages and tailor my response to their concerns. I only comment if I feel they may actually like to join my guild. I don't do this copy paste nonsense.

@Blend @Syntse Hi guys just wanted to clear a few things up about <Grin>

We have less than 200 currently, we had 200 before the US/EU servers were split in beta. We do not plan to ever be a "massive" guild or ever reach cap (several hundreds or thousands). You may think 100-200 members is a "large" guild, but it generally means in a casual guild that you will have 10-30 people on at any given time. That is still fairly small in comparison to say, the trade guilds with several hundreds or thousands, or the "zerg" guilds with no rules or restrictions on recruitment and membership.

As far as "casual" that is a fairly vague term that often means different things to different people. In general, it means a relaxed setting, everything added to that is up for your own interpretation. In our case, I refer to <Grin> as a casual guild because we have no requirements in terms of playtime, playstyle, or "quotas" of any type. We require teamspeak not because we want to be "hardcore" but because it fosters a sense of community, and makes leading events not only easier on the leaders, but more fun for everyone involved.

As far as copy pasting recruitment threads, I'm not sure I understand why anyone would be opposed to this. I assure you all my copy pasted responses are free of GMO's, free-range, and open source.

Not sure if you found what you're looking for but Kyodai is made up of people in their late 20's to 30's. Half our members have families and kids. Here's a copy of our recruitment post.

Kyodai is a casual / social guild looking to grow our ranks.

We put the advancement or our members over our personal profits in the game sharing resources with each other and passing old items around for breaking down. Most of us play primarily in Daggerfall though we have alts in other factions.
