Most players just want to PvP, so they go to the more populated campaign. It has always been that way. Faction lock or lack of it is very much trivial to most players.
I get you...but..how does it become the most popular. Why do people choose it time and time again, what's this the third reset?
The alliance locked campaign is the first on the list. It could very well be the reason. Beyond that, it is pure speculation that no one has any basis for.
Considering the threads that clamored for alliance lock were very small groups of people arguing on both sides, it does seem few care about alliance lock and considers it trivial to their primary interest.
"it's the order they are listed in, PvPers are troglodytes that can't read "
get me my internet points now

Hahaha and who are these mysterious PVPers? There are few thousand people playing in alliance locked guilds. That's not roleplaying, thats self organization, co-ordination and leaderships. When my guildies are online, we steamroll entire map and all what small scale famous PVPers can do is to gank Xv1 PVE'rs questing & doing skyshards in Cyrodiil xDDDD
That's an interesting statement. Especially after you consider that population cap is ~110 players per faction...

Not really snip he said guilds. Guilds have a 500 limit. I'm in one that's 100% pact. That's one guild on one platform in one region.
There will be 1000s total..
So, day 1 on console..
New campaigns, new choice.
Gray Host is listed with a big fat (Alliance Locked) next to it....
And it's pop locked on Xbox EU, Other campaigns have no bars at all.
Are people seriously going to still come here and say it's the minority that want alliance lock?
Oh and PS, -10 internet points for anyone that has the audacity to say "it's the order they are listed in, PvPers are troglodytes that can't read" lol.
Choice has been there for what, 9 months now and gone through another full reset.
