The alliance locked campaign is the first on the list. It could very well be the reason. Beyond that, it is pure speculation that no one has any basis for.

Considering the threads that clamored for alliance lock were very small groups of people arguing on both sides, it does seem few care about alliance lock and considers it trivial to their primary interest.

Yep it's first on the list, but to state few care about the lock just isn't backed up in game. The majority roll there, fact. So either I'm right and they choose to roll there, or you are right and they don't care for or against lock either way and click the first one.

There's no data pointing to no lock being more popular.

The denial is getting hilarious now in th way this thr we has gone on. Folks deny that spies happen, deny that people do shady / nefarious stuff / flipping / boosting..then when the choice is there to have no lock folk still play in lock and yet it's the alphabet that's the problem.

It's actually got to the point its funny now.

When my guildies are online, we steamroll entire map and all what small scale famous PVPers can do is to gank Xv1 PVE'rs questing & doing skyshards in Cyrodiil xDDDD

That's an interesting statement. Especially after you consider that population cap is ~110 players per faction...

Not really @Royaji he said guilds. Guilds have a 500 limit. I'm in one that's 100% pact. That's one guild on one platform in one region.

There will be 1000s total..

Guild with 500 members != guild with 500 active members. If there truly were a few thousands of truly active PvPers we would have had no problems filling several 350-slot campaigns and this whole discussion would be moot. But this is not the case.

Awesome. if most of the people are in alliance locked CP pvp, it keeps the huge crowds which murder performance and cause more crashing and lag out of the GOOD pvp.

Cyrodil as it stands now is best played in smaller numbers.

I only join the locked campaign because it has people in it. If the unlocked campaign had more people I’d play that for sure. More crystals and being able to play with all my friends

Choice has been there for what, 9 months now and gone through another full reset.

My PvP guild leadership wants locked, many of the members want to play unlocked. I love my guild so I follow their lead even though my heart wants otherwise.
