Wow, on noCP locks only been gone a few hours and already we got people boosting and trying to flip for Emp.
AD Emp switch to reds immediately to flip mate to get mate Emp.
I mean...common.....
People jokes about Spaies and all that rubbish on here but the BS play happens the second lock is dropped.
Totally and utterly predictable. Started happening instantly on PC EU too. Zerg surfing the night away, its awful.

Hahaha and who are these mysterious PVPers? There are few thousand people playing in alliance locked guilds. That's not roleplaying, thats self organization, co-ordination and leaderships. When my guildies are online, we steamroll entire map and all what small scale famous PVPers can do is to gank Xv1 PVE'rs questing & doing skyshards in Cyrodiil xDDDD
Uuuuuu I don't know what is cap these days, but I think it's highers and beside it's obvious that not everyone is online at once hmmmm? Interesting statement? Use guild search and you will find out how many "role players" (haha) are in this game. I think it's pretty obvious that people make friends in the guilds and they wanna stick with them and also they wanna maximise their profits at the end of campaign so they have all 18 characters on one side. People still play noCP without alliance lock because THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE, not because they love this idea.Syrusthevirus187 wrote: »Most pvp'ers have stopped playing. That's an interesting statement. Especially after you consider that population cap is ~110 players per faction...

Fine example of a PvE player mindset, a PvP player/ guild would get bored steamrolling maps, as all it offers is dull, unchallenging, low skilled, low quality "PvP".
Which fundamentally is why RvR fails in every game that tries it, "PvP" that only appeals to deluded PvE players. (and yes that also includes laughable 1vX players fighting people who have played a fraction of the time, don't practice smallscale, are on zerg builds, etc_

Nonsense, most of my guildies play battlegrounds and IC for small scale or to test their builds and they are doing excelent. I think every Cyrodiil player uses BGs as testground for their builds (except bombers). According to your opinion, winning should be banned, using effective builds & tactics should be not allowed to and we should fight a fair 1vs duels one after another to capture keeps. Pls, all alliances are doing same thing, just because some of them are more effective it doesn't mean that it's so easy to achieve that. Besides I don't know what you are implying, with alliance lock or without zergs will be still a thing, but it's not what alliances are all about.

Whoosh... You PvE players are amusing.

Or are we interested in removing choice from players due to the fear of a small number of trolls?

You say it isn’t locking due to hopping, yet you have spent the last week on the forums saying how the game is unplayable and you have had enough.
You can’t just make stuff up to suit an agenda, especially when your bias is all over the forums and everyone else has access to the same information and the campaign, but most importantly, who are you guys trying to convince? Because Zenimax can likely just check the number of players homed to a particular campaign and any arguments outside that number are pointless.

New campaigns, new choice.
Gray Host is listed with a big fat (Alliance Locked) next to it....
And it's pop locked on Xbox EU, Other campaigns have no bars at all.
Are people seriously going to still come here and say it's the minority that want alliance lock?
Oh and PS, -10 internet points for anyone that has the audacity to say "it's the order they are listed in, PvPers are troglodytes that can't read" lol.
Choice has been there for what, 9 months now and gone through another full reset.
Why is this even a discussion? Most players are causals who have one or two PvP characters of the same alliance, and they run in zergs with the 10 to 20 zerg leaders who push for alliance locks due to intense paranoia about spies and other RP stuff. The zerg leaders say what campaign to main in the guild message, and the casuals or zerg players fall into line and start 24v1ing people as usual. Im sure no one is suprised that the PvP hive likes alliance lock.

nope, CP is awful for Cyro too. Nobody dies ever.

I can tell you as a PS4 non cp player....... Our non cp campaign is now 100% dead. The main 2 guilds that played in there have now migrated to the locked campaign. I logged in for the lols to see what it looked like, entire map was red. Blue top emp leader was outscoring the next by a lot. And people with 80,000 ap were on the top 10 on a campaign that was pretty full and very competitive when it came to new emp days.........
But yeah people don't prefer alliance lock right? (Btw blue won the entire thing before the reset and now they all left)
On PS4 na it is full of people who try their best to scroll steal, swap emps, even had them trying to sell emp runs. They would send people angry messages and not allow people to crown emp (before when it was faction locked)....... Now it's unlocked so they can just easily control the entire outcome by swapping and that is fair/fun for all of us how?
Oh that's right all people care about is cheating the system...... I mean playing with your friends........
