Honestly quite curious, especially as I am a stamina user in PvP.

As soon as you transform, you become the main target - basically walking around with a 'shoot me' sign on your forehead.

Bad. Either you don't do enough damage due to lack of damage with a tanky build, except maybe(!) if you get enough enemies affected by claws of life (I doubt anyone uses that morph in PvP honestly), or you are too squishy and die quickly.
You reveal yourself best in how you play.

Farel Donvu - Dark Elf Sorcerer
Navam Llervu - Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Aniseth - Wood Elf Warden
    Therediel - Wood Elf Templar
    Nilonwy - Wood Elf Nightblade
    Jurupari - Argonian Warden
    Kú-Chulainn - Argonian Sorcerer
    PC - EU

I haven't really tried this patch but I used to run wolf on my stamsorc, it's much much better if you can get at least one other wolf, a pack is better

I recommend orc race for movement passives and weapon damage, I used to run prisoner's rags (mag sustain for heal) fury and mighty chudan (tankiness in wolf form).
With the build had over 3k crit resist and over 30k physical/spell resist.
For the pots I recommend speed, immovable, or weapon damage (then you can choose the bigger healing morph).
I'd aim a minimum of 35k health as your heal depends on this.

These sets probably outdated but they was good for me when going solo on open world. Maybe check out what others are using.

    They don't.... :(:disappointed:

    - Lack of pressure dmg (bleed dmg mechanics changes).
    - Lack of Sustain (very expensive skills with mediocre effectiveness / dmg ).
    - Need to have magicka sustain on stamina build (WW heal) - which btw. is also bad when compared to other burst heals in game.
    - Limited toolkit - WW can only use WW skills.
    - Lack of mobility - No smare removal skill / tool makes it almost impossible to play.
    - Lack of Negatve effects removal skill / tool - similar as above ^.

All in all, once you transform, you basically become "free AP" for the enemy (and almost every decent pvp knows that).

Only use case I can think of is to use WW as a "bait" / taunt. Once enemy sees you in WW form they will jump onto you to kill you and this can be used to crate ambushes - for your group to gank the enemy.

Someone who plays a PvP Werewolf 24/7 and has tried out all possibilities for building around its various weaknesses and nuisances could possibly perform okay, just okay but not great. To this date, I haven't met anyone who does though.

Werewolves really only have high single-target damage going for them. They only win if their target lets them, or if they are being assisted by some friends. Even as a noob in PvP I found it surprisingly easy to kill the rare werewolf, all it took was a bit of constant pressure on my part and they soon run out of magicka to heal. With the prevalence of stamina builds, most players are running poison injection. poisons on their front bar, and Fighter's Guild abilities so it's rare to find a player without the main source of your weakness. In my opinion, it isn't worth the cost of crafting mats to tailor a build for werewolf either, since you typically need different sets than what one would need when you are Not in WW form. It's just way too cumbersome.

    what faction are you on?

if you're not on EP, Werewolves are fine. They're very strong and can solo things in Cyrodiil. Come join the fun!

I think people cried a lot about when when you didn’t know how to counter them, but if you immobilize then you can negate them pretty easily now.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
