Am i the only one? Of all my complaints about this half hearted attempt at an ES game, performance isnt one of them. Im having ZERO lag, my FPS is normal, Im not having input lag, my loading screens are the same as always, maybe even quicker, and Cyrodiil is just fine. So, am i the only one? Dont get me wrong, when you have as many people complaining as the forums do right now, there has to be some nugget of truth to what is going on, but im sure not facing any issues and im seeing others arent either in the comments and in game chats.
So how about a positive post for once for ESO lol. Despite my myriad other complaints ( seriously, the ridiculousness behind putting ice and fire spells behinds staves is absurd if you're not doing it to the rest of the magick skills in the game. It's immersion breaking an goes against every the ES mages stand for)

Yes, youre one of the only ones. Even with the best tech on the market people cannot play this game at the moment without hitches.23 -

No, you are not the only one. I don't care about FPS until it gets really low, so anything ZOS does to "fix" it will go unnoticed by me. I don't pay any attention to latency, until it gets above 250ms, which is rarely. I do have occasional skill desync, but right now I am leveling a new character, so I am mainly questing. I don't do Cyrodiil, so I can't compare to that. Loading screens are about the same for me. Some seem shorter, others the same or longer. I have an addon that tells me how long the loading screens are, but I don't track the info. I tend to notice when it is really short, or really long. There seem to be more really short ones.
Overall, I am happy with the game performance, especially if fixes are coming to fix the desync. I can't carry the Fix the %@^#* Performance Banner here. Others have to do that.

Oh hell no. I don't have any issues at all. But of course, I don't do group content or pvp.... The game works just fine for me (considering I have to deal with satellite for connect).
However, I do understand that those who opt to play more challenging content are having massive problems. And you being a *self-censored so mods don't have to do it* doesn't help at all. No idea where you came from, or why you're all of a sudden the biggest white knight there ever was, but son, there are MAJOR issues for many people who love this game the way I do.
I have empathy for them. You're just being a.... well.... can't post that either.14 -
Paradisius✭✭✭✭Overall Im having a better experience outside of Cyro pvp, Cyro since the patch has had a spread of issues starting with crashing all the time, and then having unplayable skill delay after said crashings got fixed (fixed for me at least)1 -

No, you are not the only one. I don't care about FPS until it gets really low, so anything ZOS does to "fix" it will go unnoticed by me. Also, there is nothing wrong with having staves with an elemental focus. It seems like a petty complaint as this is the first time I have seen someone make such a protest. It has yet to break my immersion.3 -
thissocalledflower✭✭✭✭All the hiccups i had were isp related, much to my surprise. Those i have had that weren't isp related were 'fixed' by disabling outdated addons. Literally went from 4 fps to 40 with a click and a reload of the ui. Here's hoping the awesome people who make addods updated their babies to work with the latest version. If i have an issue that isn't related to that i will sure report it here.After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.1 -

I also don't have any issues, even with all my add-ons enabled.Load times are about the same, some faster, and a rare few almost instantaneous which really took me by surprise.
But given the amount of complaints other are obviously not having this experience.5 -

LMFAO is that a joke? You think the warden class which has some ice coming out of the ground and some ice cloaks is some kind of proper ice mage? As for the magdk, while it is an ok substitute, the fact of the matter is that this game completely craps on the Mages of the Elder Scrolls. We have always been able to cast multiple schools of magick on one character. And ESO lets us have multiple weapon classes on one character.
And there is no class with proper, simple ice spells. Warden is an abomination.2 -

But today my first time back in cyro with some friends was undeniably different in terms of performance. the whole event was absolutely glitchy and unresponsive. Even in small 6 on 8 fights my abilities wouldn't fire. I hope something changes cause that was unplayable.2 -

No, you're not the only one. If you listen to the forums trolls though then the game should be running at 100fps on windows 98 and crashes to desktop never happened ever in the game until update 25. Performance is the same as ever2 -

✭✭✭✭No issues for me. FPS drops are usually because of addons yelling at me and lag is because of crappy Aussie internet but it's stable. Game never crashes, lagging out is because of bad internet and never due to the server. The last couple of weeks I have run trials and done PvP, no issues. I have issues in Cyrodiil when 50+ players are at the same spot (FPS drops, lag spikes, input lag etc.), though.
I don't have long loading screens in Cyrodiil anymore.1000+ CP

Lintashi✭✭✭✭✭Performance became worse for me slightly since last patch. Before Harrowstorm, my loading screen times were shorter, and I started noticing clear desync, even in quest zones. Before, it rarely happened to me in Cyro, but not constantly, so I never complained. Now, I can barely solo overland bosses, even as I could easily do so before, because at times, skills or heals just do not fire. I have easy 3 button rotation for overland trash mobs, and since last patch, sometimes, one of those skills would not fire, so it is noticeable. My damage is still good to get through with all occasional desync and lags, but I am starting to lose hope that it will ever be fixed, and so game brings less fun lately0 -
Saelent✭✭✭✭✭I play battlegrounds almost every day, I don’t have ages long load screens or disconnects or even lag. I keep the FPS and Ping tags on the bottom of my screen and the ping stays around 77-100, often lower and my FPS sticks to the 30/40s in heavy combat. That’s probably not everyone’s perfect game but it works well for me.0 -

But the biggest achievement they have is "Fungal Grotto 1 Hard Mode" ...
Just go play in Cyrodil, even in Battleground you will see it.
You dont do pvp? FINE ! go in vMoL, right now with each fight we have 3 disconnections ... go try the twins boss when you are an odd number of player in the group ! you will have fun...
And from what i heard we are not the only ones with this problems... But HEY ! at least before the Update we didnt have any disconnections...instead we had 999+ ping9 -

It's fantastic that you are not suffering from any of the current performance issues, but doesn't seem this thread was set up to praise the developer either.
It also seems the majority of people aren't effected because they aren't playing the content that is effected.
I haven't spoken to anyone in game that hasn't been negatively effected by this patch.
I am truly happy you are able to enjoy this game, but I don't see what value this thread is adding.
