But the biggest achievement they have is "Fungal Grotto 1 Hard Mode" ...

Just go play in Cyrodil, even in Battleground you will see it.

You dont do pvp? FINE ! go in vMoL, right now with each fight we have 3 disconnections ... go try the twins boss when you are an odd number of player in the group ! you will have fun...
And from what i heard we are not the only ones with this problems... But HEY ! at least before the Update we didnt have any disconnections...instead we had 999+ ping

So I personally rarely have performance issues. But it still happens. And often at the worse time. And we routinely have people disconnecting out of nowhere during trial progression runs, or dungeon.

Nope, not the only one. Crashes in Cyrodiil have been fixed last week, I'm good now.

In general I have few performance issues, certainly not to the extent others constantly complain about here.

The one issues I do experience sadly, is laag, which at times can render Cyrodiil unplayable, and play havoc with my dps in PVE. But, its not a game breaking issue by any stretch of the imagination.

I dont have issues in dungeons, trials and battlegrouds. Not intrested in Cyrodil.
    My FPS is 70-100.
My ping is ~120, but I'm live beyond the arctic circle, i dont have any lags.

Once or twice i have ping 999 in random dungeon. Break free in pvp sometimes is very clunky. My blastbones ability sometimes doesnt work properply. Sometimes i have desync in PVP. Dungeon finder was broken for a while in the past.

I really dont understand all this threads about horrible perfomance, mb Cyrodil is the main issue.

In battlegrounds, dungeons, and world content lagg is very rare for me. I remember twice over 3 months.

I don't go Cyrodiil except the dungeons so can't write for that.

The guild vendors are nightmare. Posting items rapidly, or buying, and sometimes even searching stuff can take a lot of time.

Am i the only one? Of all my complaints about this half hearted attempt at an ES game, performance isnt one of them. Im having ZERO lag, my FPS is normal, Im not having input lag, my loading screens are the same as always, maybe even quicker, and Cyrodiil is just fine. So, am i the only one?

No, you are not the only one. I don't care about FPS until it gets really low, so anything ZOS does to "fix" it will go unnoticed by me. I don't pay any attention to latency, until it gets above 250ms, which is rarely. I do have occasional skill desync, but right now I am leveling a new character, so I am mainly questing. I don't do Cyrodiil, so I can't compare to that. Loading screens are about the same for me. Some seem shorter, others the same or longer. I have an addon that tells me how long the loading screens are, but I don't track the info. I tend to notice when it is really short, or really long. There seem to be more really short ones.

Overall, I am happy with the game performance, especially if fixes are coming to fix the desync. I can't carry the Fix the %@^#* Performance Banner here. Others have to do that.

LOL, recognizing the problems exist, and still ignoring them, so for sure game will be "fine"...

Right now, I am leveling up a character for future use, and as I do that, I am catching up on some DLC quests that I have not done, or not done in years. Perhaps not exercising the game to the fullest extent, at the moment, but I wasn't having any problems in dungeons or Cyrodiil (MYM) earlier this year, either. That is not now, though.

I don't go out looking for problems to complain about. Once the character is leveled and I have a chance to get the gear and final skills set, I will be doing other content. We will see about performance, then.

Regarding FPS and Latency. There are some human physiological limits and expectations that influence both of these. The human neuromuscular system is slow. Damn slow. Our ability to adapt to these limitations is excellent, though. Lifetime of practice. My opinion, of course. So, no, I do not get interested in the game values until they get close to the point of the human physiology limits.

I mostly play PvE but I do occasionally jump into Cyrodiil and more rarely - battlegrounds (mostly with RL friends)

I have a pretty good laptop and aside from the long loading screens (which I simply accept as a fact of life), I don't really notice any issues with the game. I had a random crash a week ago after a patch but I haven't experienced any kind of lag issues that would lead to me trashing the devs on their forums. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with ESO.

Of course, I play on the NA server (most complaints seem to derive from the EU servers I believe?) and I'm not a huge fan of PvP. I do take most complaints regarding performance with a grain of salt because from experience the complainers are often the types who count every millisecond when casting a spell, notice every drop in frame rates, and treat armor and stats as math equations. I personally do not find it to be an enjoyable way to play a game, so I largely avoid PvP and vet dungeons.

All the same, as PvP is an aspect of the ESO, I do hope that the devs will works on ways to improve performance so that everyone can enjoy the game. I'm sure that they will figure things out in time.

All the hiccups i had were isp related, much to my surprise. Those i have had that weren't isp related were 'fixed' by disabling outdated addons. Literally went from 4 fps to 40 with a click and a reload of the ui. Here's hoping the awesome people who make addods updated their babies to work with the latest version. If i have an issue that isn't related to that i will sure report it here.

Everything updated, connection flawless to all servers in all games except this one.

So you do absolutely nothing that would test the game in anyway. Thank you so much for your valuable feedback

And that probably reflects the activities of the vast majority of players.

Patronising players doesn’t invalidate their experience.

Lol, no, even in pve there are issues now, dungeons, trials, public dungeons, all laggy and buggy AF. But keep telling yourself the vast majority have no problems

Its funny...it seems one cannot express if they have not seen all the negatives that are occurring for many without being attacked. What benefit would either side have for lying about it?

Let me preface this with that I believe that many are having issues and I'm not about to try and diagnose why they are and I'm not. All I can do is share my experiences.

    Week of first patch
First day I had 2-3 random crashes without even entering PvP. However as the week progressed I only had maybe a couple more for the remainder of the first week. My load screens were noticeably faster. Even my ping and latency were lower and more stable. Right away I heard about the honorific experiences in PvP...so I mostly avoided it week one. A friend did need some help in PvP so I joined her and another. We rode to Valaste...captured the flags...after she got what she needed we rode out. While I was crash free...both my friends did crash before we left Cyrodiil. I didn't do any trials but I did crafting writs daily, overland content and various dungeons including both new dungeons. Load screens were and are much better for me. One of the only reasons I mentioned crafting is that prior to this patch....load screens had gotten so long that I went down to 3-6 crafters doing daily writs. Since the patch I have done all 18 crafters most days and the only reason is due to the quicker load screens switching between characters.

    After the second patch
I have not had a random crash since...but I have friends who report them and long load screens a lot. Load screens are still good. In addition to my normal daily stuff (Crafting writs, overland & 4 man dungeons). I did do about 2 hours one day in Cyrodiil. Perhaps it was due to lower populations with all of the negatives many are facing but I never crashed & battles were great for the session. In fact I'll be trying more since I enjoyed it. I'm not having as many issues as others with keys not responding when clicked though I have encountered it some. I have not tried any trials to this point.

I'm not sure this thread serves the purpose the OP hoped for...whatever that is.

I'm just adding my voice that not everyone is having such a terrible experience. I think its more important for those having issues to raise them and be heard so things get fixed for all parties.

In fact a short time ago I had a thread wondering if I should continue to play due to a billing problem and performance issues. After the patch I decided to re-up my ESO plus.

So how about a positive post for once for ESO lol. It's immersion breaking an goes against every the ES mages stand for)

same here...people just keep complaining INSTEAD OF BUYING A NEW DAMN PC, but hey...im actually having slightly better frames after the update and the game is a bit more fluid/responsive soooo khajiit is happy.

The game has been working pretty good. I have not had a problem doing quests, dungeons or BG’s. Cyrodil likes to crash every 10 minutes or so like clockwork. I’m not doing trials.

Runs decent for me, but that does not matter when the game becomes "sticky" because of certain actions like actions after a channel, actions after rolling, and actions after blocking. Then there is a delay on certain skills (ferocious leap, soul siphon, etc.) that make them unusable without first blocking (or you die).

This problem has become more pronounced after the "fix" to crashing, and they don't care. It's a travesty. Well it would be if it was not as expected...

when people list negative issues, they sometimes link steam charts to show how things are deteriorating. have done it myself.

Actually though, the charts would indicate that something got better.

After events like murkmire, you usually have a strong drop in daily users.
At moment though, we have constant numbers, and almost 22k is a much better value than several weeks ago.

So it seems, that indeed many people seem to be able to play the game.

My FPS is a bit erratic. Normally it was always 130-140, now its more 70-140 (like at one point its 130, then 110, then 140 then 72 etc.) with an occasion quick drop to 30. It went to 5 once. This just by myself in the middle of nowhere. I'll take a 100 even all the time in the middle of nowhere than up and down like I'm getting now.
