The problem with jabs is you must land all of them to get the damage. Which can be difficult to do in PVP at times plus evasion reduces it’s damage a good bit. Against a decent to good player jabs is just weak and useless most of the time but not always. With the Sacred Ground passive no longer snares enemies in the area it will be even harder to land jabs.
Burning light can hit hard and I see many calls for it to be nerfed, but it is needed overall to help with the DPS potential of a templar. I believe it is balanced when considering all the classes overall damage potential.
I agree I would like to see the channel time decreased but to 0.8 instead of 0.9 you suggested.

It’s called onslaught.

No sound/visual que on the onslaught, and it was a 1v1 fight. Nor was it in the recap.

Burning Light is not part of the skill damage, but a passive meant to form part of the class' total damage output. It doesn't buff your other skills, set damage, or recovery, unlike other passives.
I hate getting Jabs-gibbed in battlegrounds lol but I also wouldn't want the skill to be worthless. These things should be looked at in the context of the entire class — I'm curious how stamplars are doing compared to other classes in trials. Maybe it is overtuned, maybe not. I certainly don't hear people requesting stamplars as often as stam necros.
It WOULD be nice to have a Spear Shards stam morph ... or any other way to proc this than Radial Sweep

To me, it seems like you just logged on to PTS with each Class, equipped the same gear and just uploaded a Snip-it of each tool-tip. That to me is not testing...

As described in original posts, it is just tooltips. But anyway this all is outdated, I already remade my PVE magplar to PVP stamplar and played ~100 hours on one. I can confirm that jabs are absolutely OP if... opponent tries to face tank them standing in one place and/or without major evasion. Major evasion immediately puts jabs to "standard" and against highly mobile opponents jabs are not good at all. If not for aedric passives, I'll swap them for dizzy and use dizzy instead.

LOL Its terribly impracticle to look at numbers just on what you have said. I like the earlier suggestion you had. You could nerf jabs 20% but make it single targe with splash. Most people would win there; but thats only in comparison to dizzy. Other spammables in game have been made pretty bad.
The only egregious outlier is of course Jabs, which basically goes without saying for anyone who has gotten caught in a Potl Onslaught Jabs combo lol.
I'd like to see Jabs/Templar adjustments personally; I hate that ZOS has locked SOOO much of the class power behind spamming one skill. It feels really bland and severely limits build options.
if they gave us another good option I wouldn't mind adjusting jabs, looks lame anyway since it makes your weapon dissapear. but templar as it is, jabs is the only good thing it has for stam, unless you give it other things, leave it the F alone.
Glad to see someone asking for nerfs tries playing and using x skill and realizes that the skill is not totally OP as they thought. Awesome for you.
Personally, I too would drop jabs for dizzy if not the aedric passives and still may do it to see how it works out. I really wish stamplar had a cc somewhere in their toolkit of class skills.

Javelin is a decent cc for stamplars at the moment: knocks down, has full penetration and can proc burning light.
