I have 3 Zaan helms. None came in infused or the weight I wanted. I do dungeons for fun, but hate the RNG

Well transmute stones are cheap and plentiful and that’s what they’re for.

Can’t help you with the weights, but once you’ve got 3, the 4th is a doddle. It’s the first one that kills you. (Again and again and again).

Good luck on the next run.

For a dedicated PvPer? They probably are.

For a dedicated PvEer (as in "does not do PvP")? They are a pain in the rear end to obtain.

If the golden sold DLC helmets then no one would buy the DLC, honestly. I hate that stance but I understand it.

I don't think that's true at all. If the ONLY reason a person buys a DLC, or subscribes, is to get a helmet, then ZoS have completely failed at creating compelling DLC.

Seems odd that the ZAAN monster set pieces have never dropped via the Golden Vendor. Either it's just ZOS's lousy RNG or intentional. An answer from ZOS would be nice.

intentional per past posts as one person stated zos said so in some tweet/podcast/etc.

Well that is totally wrong and I have submitted a ticket asking ZOS to explain their reasoning behind not offering the ZAAN monster set via the golden vendor especially when to my knowledge all the other sets are. The major reason behind the golden vendor was to give the die hard PvP players an option to acquire the PvE monster sets. Not all players PvE or PvP. Some do one or the other and weapon sets, skills and game play differ between the two.

That doesn't mean they need to make everything available to you if you only decide to partake in a small portion of the game. I don't see a problem with withholding the best, most sought after sets from being purchased with a day's worth of AP. Not really fair to the PvE'ers that have to actually complete the content.

Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.

Well on the flip side then I have no sympathy for those die hard PvEr's that complain about not having a option to play Cyrodiil as a PvE zone so that they can complete it's quest content and delves without worrying about being killed by other players.

A simple question went way off topic because some players from the PvE peanut gallery have to voice their opinions on a simple question that was directed to ZOS not them.

Its an Elder Scrolls game. PvE. Do the content or dont get the rewards. PvP is a minor side game attached to an established PvE series.

Maybe the Golden Vendor should be removed from the game entirely. It really doesn't help the average player. How many PVE players really PVP? I dabble in PVP once in a while and have about 1.5 mil AP on 4 characters. I've only used between 100 to 200k AP on items at the vendor and that was once last year. Most PVErs only get enough AP just to buy a helm which most of the time is useless junk.

A lot of low end players, like myself, will never see items like Zaans or Mighty Chundan due to low dps. So, even having Zaans or any monster damage set will not help my dps overall. Heh, I can't do rotations with my hands/fingers...not possible. I still like ESO but can only go so far with it. I would really like to see a 7 pc craftable with 7 bonuses. Something that ordinary / casual player can craft and have FUN with. Bring back the FUN ZOS.

    FUN is
    1. Put damage back into PVE skills (everything seems the same..lack luster).

    2. For those that can't acquire the best monster helms (provide an alternative like a 6 months long quest / treasure hunting for an item for several weeks). It would be a nice bobble to throw into a chest because it would get nerfed anyway.

    3. I would like to see different mechanics in game (activate a landslide on a boss, encased on ice, etc)

    4. When entering Lag-O-Dil pvp every skill, item set should be nerfed into the ground so everybody is equal..no advantage because once someone complains about another skill, item set, etc then it gets nerfed into oblivion. PVP could have been so much more. The original idea or Lag-O-Dil was great but now it's been turned on its head. I did enjoy getting killed most of the time. It was fun. I was having fun but with all of the nerfs I no longer PVP and I'm wondering about PVE as well.

    5. Battlegrounds was interesting. Earned a lot of AP and items there. But it's pretty much one sided/lack luster/repeat. Should battlegrounds be inside of Cyrodiil? Might be an interesting alternative than having it in each of the Alliance zones. Accessing Battlegrounds at ea Alliance HQ via BG wayshrine. Maybe the overall lag might be contained in one area or reduced?
