What does the Golden Vendor offer this week?
The Adhazabi Aba-daro is a special ESO vendor that only appears on the weekend to offer a random selection of gold jewelry (2 from dungeons and two from zone items sets), two monster set helms or shoulders (pledge dungeons).

1. Plague Slinger Ring – Robust 250,000g / 500,000AP
2. Barkskin Ring – Robust 250,000g / 500,000AP
3. Ring of Martial Knowledge – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP*
4. Ring of Flanking – Robust 150,000g / 300,000AP*
5. Pirate Skeleton Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
6. Chokethorn’s Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP

No DLC monster helmet... what a waste. At this point there are more DLC dungeons than base game ones... so we should see DLC monster sets more often... except we don't lol.... Last time we got Iceheart just before it was nerfed... All this leads me to believe that this RNG vendor... is not RNG at all...

Had the same suspicion when Iceheart was offered just before it was nerfed. Made me feel a bit like a conspiracy theorist, who's starting to see things everywhere, but that Iceheart just felt a little too much like a big fat middle finger. That timing would've been quite the coincidence.

(Or it was indeed just that and I'm really just seeing things where there are none, but... you never know).

No way the vendor is rng based. I dont think anyone believes that anymore. Its not a coincidence that he rarely sells DLC helms (they are not included in base game and drop in paid, DLC content).

No way the vendor is rng based. I dont think anyone believes that anymore. Its not a coincidence that he rarely sells DLC helms (they are not included in base game and drop in paid, DLC content).

Could still be rng but heavyly weighted toward not having them on the vendor

Just counted. 24 base game, 16 dlc. Not really nearly more. It'll be another 2.5 years before we get that many.

People bring up the frequency of Stam//Mag rotation of sets, for instance - but like - when was the last time Iceheart was at the Golden? Or Chokethorn this week?

Why CAN’T we predict what’s next week?

You really dont understand why the vendor exists. It is there because some PvPers do not want to do PvE content because they do not enjoy it a lot. Not all but some. Then this option exists for them.

I am fine if ZoS decide to disable all PvE gear in PvP.

I don't get why ppl complain here every week about *** sets. You can go to dungeon any time and get what you need. Monster helmets are guaranteed drops from vet last boss. And they even made it easier to get shoulders for 5 keys.
And if you are not capable of doing vet dungeon then you probably dont need monster set anyway.

It is not about skill or not, or having cash to buy DLC or not... I have no trouble with that. It is about freaking RNG drops after killing last boss... Vendor allows to skip RNG which is always welcome.

And about the gear availability... It is only my personal opinion, but I think that locking stronger gear behind harder & harder content that only small group of players can complete, just makes the floor - ceiling gap in player base bigger in general. Gold Vendor & Undaunted vendor are supposed to minimize that effect.

I don't really care much what's for sell there. I just think it's kind of silly to call it the "Golden" vendor when 1) not all items are gold, and 2) it mostly consists of gear nobody wants. Would be better to call it the "Junkyard Vendor".

Because the DLC dungeons are infamously unpopular with good cause, and they don't want to give players another reason not to play them.

There have been reports that the latest dungeon is not another ridiculous mechanics-or-die one. So maybe they've realised their error. If they redo the other DLC vet dungeons accordingly, then people might actually want to play them and we'll also see them on the golden vendor.

Sorry - I meant the time when Iceheart was available before last week of course. ie. was it exactly the same number of weeks between each instance? And the same number of weeks between the drop before that?
