ZOS - No Stamina Recovery (ZOS you are incorrect)

This is a bug and should be fixed in next week’s incremental patch. It’s worth noting this is a UI issue, and isn’t actually affecting your stamina recovery."

This is not just a UI issue. My UI doesn't stop me from being able to get stamina back when it's depleted. In other words I cannot use abilities that cost Stamina. Moreover I cannot dodge roll or Sneak, or Sprint.
Bar Swapping is not fixing the issue. This is forcing me to log out of game, that is when I am not crashing (Cyrodiil). This bug is happening in Battlegrounds, in Cyrodiil and in carebear land. If your "fix" is based around UI and tool-tips, you might want to reexamine the whole thing because this is game-breaking for me.

    @Xael: you are right.
    Its very easy to verify. Sneak and dodge roll until you stamina is empty, wait 1 min in sneak and try again a dodge roll. You will not dodge roll, you hear only the out of stamina sound and stay on place.

    i have zero stamina recovery.
    its not a bug, this is game breaking because i cant do anything with zero stamina.
    zenimax this is not a visual bug, its an actual NO stamina recovery.

    Please disclose the platform and mega-server on which the issue occurs when you post a bug report. ZOS cannot investigate without that information. Please refer to the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum for requirements and advice for posting a useful bug report.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno: In my experience and observation, this issue does not occur with any of my characters on PC NA.

    I noticed this happening just today. On my magic using templar, one or two blocks or a dodge roll and I'm out of stamina. And my stamina is not recovering, (or if it is, it's recovering very slowly.)

    I'm on PC - NA

    Well, perhaps we are not using the same array of Add-ons. :wink:

    Which is to note that the problem might be caused by an add-on used for the character(s) of the player who wrote the OP.

    If Stamina recovers slowly on either of my two Sorcerers or on the healer Templar, then that is what I expect, because they are Magicka builds. On the other Templar, which is a Stamina build, I haven't seen the problem at all. Nor have I noticed it on the new Orc Warden (Stamina build) which I have been leveling. ...... Is there a class that doesn't use magic, other than the Dragonknight?

    I think that anger at the devs over things like incompetence with bug fixes may be misplaced sometimes, since devs do need permission from the corporate Zenimax Overlords to do a lot of things, and without that they cant give us what we want.

    Sometimes the devs really do want to do the right thing, but the evil overlords wont let them.

    Saying ZOS is being greedy and evil may be correct, but making fun of the devs is probably misdirected anger.
    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    In my own past experience as a programmer and systems analyst, bugs are inevitable, and the less time that a development team is expected to spend to complete a project or a task, the more likely there will be one or more bugs. The biggest challenge in software development is not completing a project on time and within budget, but getting those two goals correct before starting to work. :wink:

    ZOS is committed to producing one new "chapter" and three DLCs per calendar year. So the time and budget constraints are evidently rather severe -- i.e., without a significant investment in the staff and other resources that would make such a financial plan feasible without producing bugware. ZOS evidently does not have a Quality Assurance team for "alpha testing". Nor does it employ any "maintenance" programmers whose principal task is finding and fixing flaws in the software design and/or its implementation.

    At most, ZOS seems to have an small team whose task is to find and remedy problems that have the most adverse impact upon the functioning of the game client, game host, and mega-server system. Everyone else is busy developing the next chapter or another DLC to sell.

    ZOS probably makes most of their profit from selling millions of copies of the game client package, not from providing "software as a service", i.e., the game itself. Other important revenue streams are the Crown Store, and selling very large Homesteads, in particular, each of which typically cost as much or more than a TESO "chapter". As long as a sufficient number of players continue buying the software and the Homesteads, and patronizing the Crown Store, ZOS will provide a game to play, such as it is and will be.

    Are you here for attention or drama? I mean other than coming in and making noise about "how to post" you then begin to cast doubt on my post.

    I am obviously on PC.
    I am quoting Gina from her sticked post "Current Known Issues - Update 25 [updated 2/27] Bookmark" which is (wait for it...) regarding update 25 for PC/Mac.
    Harrowstorm doesn't even launch for console until March 10th.

    This is a known issue that many other people have and documented. Moreover ZOS themselves have attempted to respond, albeit with incorrect information. This has nothing to do with add-ons. Several of us have disabled/uninstalled our add-ons before coming here and reporting this as a problem.

    Mine too... still have zero addons, never had one. It’s not my pc, which is also my workplace at home, it’s not my internet, which is also used by my son and his streaming/playing/music/I have lost count of the young ones.

    I’m receiving zero in return on HA. My regeneration is gone. Suddenly, I’m a bosmer woman with no power?! What is that?
