Commandment✭✭✭From experience, and being fully geared. I feel that Sorc, is the only class that can one shot someone do massive damage regularly, and be just as tanky as a tank char. Then to put a cherry on top they have a mobility move that also has a unblockable stun.
As a stam user, it takes a considerable amount of attacks to break the shield. Even though you actually need to make an effort to go next to them, while they roll there face on the key board from far away.

Magsorc is currently the hardest class to 1 v X with, and the best magsorcs out there get rekt when they have 3-4 okayish stam players on their butt
However i agree with the fact that its the best class for stealing kills, so very good for someone starting out, you can get a lot of accidental kills with it, perfect for low MMR BGs, but it's a looong way to truly master the class and make it viable in a competitive environment

Tanky and magsorc in this same sentence ? Dude go easy on the skooma pls, one dizzy + onslaught and any magsorc is at 20% health, you follow with an executionner and its over
You have one set that increases dmg against shields (shield breaker) and one cp tree
And on top of that non pet magsorc don't have any real heals and must make due with resto staff abilities (when they work) or dark conversion which can be dangerous to use in a situation where you would need a quick burst heal and not a channeled one
And yes necros are clearly broken af, but i'd rather play a class that i enjoy even if it means being the underdog, hopefully we get our shields back in the future

you wont dominate anything because of fury. when you will get to the higher level your team will fight 15 mins to get 1 or 2 frags per player and probably you will remove fury from your bar because it will be worthless most of the match time0 -

Really want to see you dealing with magplars and magwardens as a magsorc. Spoiler: You can't. Purge (not the useless expensive Support one) is a big middle finger to magsorc's burst. And Crushing Shock spam + occassional Crystal Fragments really isn't enough to deal with such tanky classes as magplar and magwarden.
Im more weeks than not in the BGs leaderboards. I think i know my way around pvp in bgs.
My pvp meter says i have more than 50% of match win . I always play with or against some of the best BG players.
I more time than not am over the 5k màrk. All this just to assest i think i know what i am talking about
I am not saying magsorc are op and should be nerfed.
I am only saying they have the most complete toolbox to shine in BG.
Sorcs dont have a single debuff they can use on the enemy. Literally every class has a larger toolbox than sorc. Yes it hits hard and magsorc is in a good place, but that is just false.0 -

All of this is pretty true for lowish MMR in BGs, which makes me think that's the viewpoint you're coming from, and t's further emphasized in your expression of surprise at stamcros/stamdens being one of the best classes to run at the moment. However, while magsorc is certainly not weak or even average (they're strong) it has one of the most telegraphed bursts in the game and gets tougher to play the higher MMR you go, because people tend to learn to actively mitigate damage with rolling and blocking. You can only really land a single frag and maybe time it with a curse within a streak stun window, and most builds are chunky enough with all the passive mitigation going around that they can take the hit and rally/PoL up out of the execute zone if they got close.
Maybe reconsider the way you actively mitigate damage and the way you're gearing?NeRf MaGsOrC0
