Stun DESYNC and how it carries eso player and creates tank meta.

It time to talk about next patch. This patch is a failure in my eyes. Hopefully over all I'm wrong because I cant see the big picture. Because I only can speak on what I see. On a positive note. I have some true gameplay tips on everything done wrong. STUN DESYNC IS WHY THEIR IS A TANK META. Meta is to build to be tanky just to get a ultimate and hope a stun with DESYNC to get enough free damage to kill. Overall it's based on changes done. Changes like a d swing. If your positive on a heavy attack to animation cancel to a move. Then a half charge heavy attack equal positive frames plus ability. Add DESYNC and you now get a ultimate/cast time plus light attack plus executes. That's alot of free after a stun damage. Ultimately this equation equal why build for damage. So the goal then becomes to build to survive until the next free DESYNC combo based around a ultimate. This gameplay CARRIES players that think doing a combo equals skill. It's the true cancer in the gameplay that will forever make this game unbalance. So this is the true issue in pvp. Stop making DESYNC worst. Solution is eazy.

Option 1
Auto break free.
With auto breat free. The issue is fix over night. No more stun DESYNC combos. No more cheese stun combat. No more carries

Option 2
You admit the combat changes made was flawed. This would be a bad look. I do not recommend this. To openly change a super broken positive stun DESYNC combo like heavy attack into double damage abilitie would look bad. Also this would be time consuming.

Option 3
You fix lag and DESYNC. This option is just not realistic. Let's be honest you cant fix this issue. Lag, DESYNC is bigger then any 1 thing or game. You can make it better but completely fix. I just dont believe it realistic.

As long as, their is a chance to kill a player while being defensive. Players will build to be tanky. Free damage by way of stun DESYNC is a lucky break that rewards gameplay at way to high of a success rate in game now. Pvp is dominated by the stun meta. It time to fix it. Hopefully I was helpfully in pointing out the issues.

P.s.
As a ps4 user I haven't even seen the patch or read reviews. I just was waiting for the release of the patch to give guidance. I hope I dont come off as a jerk to say it's bad direction to believe you can fix issues with a patch. The direction should be to play tho or with lag/DESYNC. Hopefully I'm helpful.

    I can stun DESYNC and combo and feel good because I did a hit confirm combo and got clear cut unintentionally extra damage. I feel great. My feeling is get good. Ha ha I just killed you.

    Effect
    I can build to be tanky. Why be a dps. My goal is to kill players but If my DESYNC combo hits for 30k as a dps. Who cares if my combo hit for 20k at a tanky set up. It's free damage anyway after a stun.

    I read guide to get champion points fast on YouTube and grind points fast and I just still get rekt after a stun. This game sucks

    How do I make these players happy. I just sould of made a game like wow. But no I had to be different. Just balance for pve. This is a nightmare. Player are building to be tanky, but yet they complain they cant kill each other.

    NO ONE WINS WITH STUN DESYNC IN THE GAMEPLAY.

    Are you referring to when you are stunned but the animation shows you as standing up as if you are rooted? That is very annoying indeed.

    If you happen to know what causes this, I’m sure the devs would be very interested.

    2 – Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
    3 – Adds 1206 Maximum Health
    4 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    5 – Adds 1206 Maximum Health
    5 – When you are affected by a disabling effect, you automatically Break Free for no cost. After using this effect, you become winded and cannot retrigger this effect for 21 seconds.

    Attacker
    Damage plus stun move.
    Stun equal I hit confirm into ultimate or another move. This move should equal my reward for a stun. But

    Defender
    I have full stam and everything any thing that stuns me I break free.

    What's really going on
    The race of luck is does the defender break free fast enough. The lag/DESYNC might allow a double move combination. Despite the defender seeing and breaking free fast on their end.

    For these reasons, of abilities being balance and changes of adjustments. This has indirectly caused tank meta. Tank meta is not based on being a tank role. Tank meta is based on being a dps role with the desire to kill players as primary focus but stun DESYNC allowing extreme level of damage after stun. This allows players push tanky set up that will never work against a half good player. But will work with a stun DESYNC. This turns the gameplay away from skill base gameplay and based the gameplay on luck.

    This Is a lazy attempt to fix this issue but it's not good enough. This set should be basic gameplay. Something should be done about DESYNC. It's the reason why gameplay is BUSTED.

    The game is now Broken, call me crazy but I rely pretty heavily on my skills GOING OFF with one input not 6-7 if AT ALL this is infuriating I had actually gotten my hopes up it would perform better.

    SKills lag is IMMENSE now, it's basically not fun.

    I lost like 30 FPS for NO reason, I even turned the settings down, this is not acceptable they need to roll this crap back or will be losing a lot of players.

    I should be having fun killing people left and right in BG but it's not fun I just get triggered when my bars don't swap even when dominating people it makes me want to quit because it FEELS BAD MAN when your skills don't work, when you can't break free and now I have even had roll dodge and light attack LOCK UP.

    but even this system isn't implement right...

    i play for 2 yrs... never had problems like this... but healthdesync is a thing!

    Tank meta began with the one shot wombo combo in the dark brotherhood days. It persisted because the game devs have not discouraged it. Nerfing the tanky mechanics would adversely affect vet hm and trials tanks. This plus the mindset that defensive draws in fights are better than dying have kept tanks as the main pvp builds.

    This kinda sounds like “working as intended” honestly. Bar the occasions in which the animation for being stunned isn’t presented quick enough or at all.
    If you get stunned you lose the GCD of the skill you were about to attempt, then you spend a GCD on breaking free. Mostly, if you break free instantly you still allow the attacker a free attack or maybe two while if you are breaking free instantly. That’s just the nature of stuns in this game.

    I’m not sure where this DESYNC comes in to play honestly.

    It screws less tanky people way more and screws class and playstyle that rely on skill even more still, if being able to break free and dodge roll/vigor is your main tool to stay in the fight and it doesn't work you are boned. I can hop on my magwarden and it doesn't matter so much that I'm lagging or that break free has been all but removed from PVP because she has 2-3 heals and free defensive stats to carry me through the CC, even on her though NETCH WONT CAST LOL not delay it just actually will NOT activate.

    ZOS is gaslighting their customers by not confirming that there is some severe issues with the functioning of their game, how many people are gonna end up looking for problems on their end or feel like they are going insane because this is happening when there is NO response from the company. It ain't right, it's not fun and it's not cool at all to do this to us you don't treat the people who make your job possible like that a game is supposed to be fun not some guessing game with this smoke and mirrors bulcrap.

    There is no room for skills not firing and cc/stun lock on a glass cannons .
    There is no argument around this point. Stop being naive.... that or alot of you are bias as hell. Just stop.
    Go play a glass char in cyrodiil in primetime and tell me there's no difference from your tanky toon. Smh

    Auto break free does not sound like a good idea. It’s better to have the choice to break CC vs not having the choice. Unless it’s prime time Cyrodiil I don’t have issues on my platform with CC break.
