Why the obsession with vigor?

Doesn't matter what anyone was doing. Builds don't matter here. What matters is people being unable to talk constructively. If you are in a group together, learn to talk to other people. So many players either (1) go straight to rage and can't share suggestions to the group in a decent manner or (2) take any suggestion, no matter how well delivered, as a personal attack.

a few things..play as you want, but if it negatively impacts your group expect negative feedback.....some of you go hard on "l33ts" to the point where you are just as bad as the meta humpers who you are complaining about....also, to touch on the meta discussion, there are reasons why builds are "meta" and a lot of testing and math etc has been done to get them to that point, and unless you are quite good at theory crafting and can play effectively on the "off" builds, meta may benefit some people.....

also @Strider__Roshin you still milling about in cyro? I just came back from a 6 month break and havent seen many familiar faces out there lol

@wazzz56 what's up buddy? Nah I haven't played since July of last year after testing Scalebreaker. I'll probably play again if they get rid of cast times on "instant cast ultimates" and buff Nightblades. Otherwise I've been having fun playing Destiny 2, Monster Hunter World, and Black Desert.

It's basically to "force" PVE players to try some PVP, to complete their character. A little like I had to endure with my PVE healer (before I committed to PVP for real) to get Warhorn the ultimate back in the days. It's not a bad thing imho, I sort of discovered PVP pretty early on because of this. I was furious when I was "zerged down", and just had to take revenge. Some 80 000 kills later, I'm not nearly done... ;-)

It's pretty hard to play on a stamina character without Vigor altogether, maybe a warden or a necromancer can to "so-so" without it, but at large you will be needing it. In a super organized and disciplined endgame trial group etc., I don't think you are supposed to need Vigor however. But for group finder veteran dungeons, it's 100% certainly a must afaik.

The only time I've called out anybody on vigor was when a magplar healer was using it.

This is a good example of why I haven’t done a PUG dungeon in like 3 years. If you want to have a PVE toon with massive gaps in your skill set because you are part of a regular group that plays together, awesome have at it. But if you build a toon with a major gap and play a PUG dungeon don’t expect someone else to change their build to accommodate you. Last time I PUG’d a dungeon I got the worst message I’ve gotten on XBox in ESO in 5 years because I had the audacity to not know that the guy I played with had no ability to recoup stamina.

The last time someone whined about me while in a dungeon was because I was killing everything too quickly. I'm not kidding lol
