How long does it take for ESO support to deal with scammers?

So i bought 30 crates from someone, gold for crowns, successfuly right, wasn't scammed this time.
About a week later i was gonna buy 15 crates from the same person and they scammed me, apparently they are notorious scammers that change their gamertag constantly.
Still very much confused why they sold me the 30 crates only to scam me on the 15, i mean i go into it expecting the possibility of being scammed you know, but not this time, i was sure they were trusted as i had bought from them before. Like if i got scammed by some random then whatever thats a known possibility but this, made me feel so angry,betrayed but mostly confused as to why they didnt scam me for the 30 crates if they are a scammer...

So yeah, my support tickets been in there for 2 days awaiting agent, the guys has probably scammed many more people unless ofc they are working on it behind the scenes or something.
Also some guildies said they might refund my gold, anyone had experience with this before, how long does the process take, was hoping to get xanmeer crates before they leave

    You do know you have to follow up/reply to the automated response to your ticket to get a human to look at it?

    Also it is now the weekend, which means less staff online, which means slower response times.

    No one knows. You will not get any information on actions taken against other players. All you get is a thank you for reporting and some general advice. None of us know if and how players get reprimanded.

    As for refunds, I have heard of people who got gold refunds. The one time I got scammed, I did not get one. It helps if you have screenshots, ideally a recording of the transaction.

    In regards to the ticket, 2 days isn't usually a long waiting time. Especially recently, ticket queue seems to have been very slow moving. There's also been a lot of people who didn't get their automatic bot email. Did you get that, or nothing at all?

    I got a refund after getting scammed. Took about 2 weeks to get this response:

    "Typically, we are unable to provide compensation as a result of a scam that occurred in-game. That being said, as a one-time exception, we have returned what was scammed from your character: [snip]

    Please be aware that the player market in The Elder Scrolls Online is a "buyer beware" market, and not every trader is trustworthy. If you do fall for such a scam again, we will not be able to refund you a second time.

    Scamming is a violation of the Terms of Service, and we treat any reports of scamming very seriously. To protect individual privacy, we do not disclose the outcome of our investigations.."

    This. Especially replying to the automated reply. Also, Zos needs to look into the transaction itself. Being the weekend will extend that.

    I would suggest using a third party to handle the gold and hold onto it until you get your crates. Just upfront trading with a total stranger is very risky.

    You must reply in a certain number of hours (it's on the ticket, but not obvious) and then every reply you get, you must also quickly reply to.

    First, dont post your support ticket here as thst is an absolute pointless action to take.

    Second, you will never know how long it takes them IF they even take action at all. In your case, I doubt they will bother.

    Third, buying crowns for gold and vice versa is entirely on the players end the onus is not on ZOS here because the natrual interface for giving crown store items is via gifting. They fully acknowledge that players will make these types of monetary in game arrangements but if they really wanted to support this on the anti scam side of things, they would incorporate a ui that is specifically designed for the sole purpose of secured crowns to gold exchange.

    They don't.

    This, why would they ban someone that's spending money on crowns? That's a potential big hit if this person is buying in large amounts, now times that by a few dozen more scammers, $$$$$$ lost. You should know by now that's all Zeni cares about.

    I don't believe that zos does refunds now, after they updated the terms and conditions a couple of months ago.

    I would suggest either using guild mates, or the ttc discord group.

    1st of all u are not supposed to sell/buy crowns via gifting system...zos washed their hands on the matter when they implemented this so you are pretty much free to go farm the money again and if you wanna buy...do it from proper places with trustworthy sellers instead random zone dudes.
