I quite like Murkmire, in general.

Unfortunately, I don't really like events.

When the event is on, there are too many people and when it's not, there will be too few, again.

Doesn't matter what other people like, or don't like.

I mean, obviously, it matters to them, but you shouldn't allow their opinions to affect you negatively.

Murkmire is one of my favorite places in the game, so I guess my favorite memory would be going there for the first time and playing through the main questline. The story was very well written, and the entire zone has a unique look and feel to it. I enjoyed it so much that sometimes I go back just to run around and explore.

This one will never forget the stench, the muck, the unspeakable rotting things, the flat grey-brown-almost-green textures of everything, the awful croaking noises of the natives and their terrible musical instruments. Don't you worry, Dungmire's a part of us all now. Mainly because it doesn't wash out of fur.

Skyshards and extra skill points from the quests. Nothing else. The land... well it's not my cup of tea.
This is why, the sight of a wayshrine always makes me happy in Murkmire. When I port out of the god awful place, I'm very happy.

The music is great but was never a fan of argonian lands. I hate swamps and all the things that come with it. Even shadowfen and Deshaan were my least favorite zones. Some people absolutely love it and I admit these zones are done very well. Just not my cup of tea. I love mountains, vibrant foliage, green fields, oceans, rivers lakes and streams, and deserts. Everything else is awesome.

finishing and getting out of the fetid place. I have to say how ever well done it is as a zone I disliked it personally.
Everything will be alright in the end, if its not alright its not the end.

IMHO Murkmire is the best all round zone in the game. The natural landscape is unrivalled in its execution and there's great synergy with the argonian culture. The questline also do it justice. It's just a great package.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

wasn't really excited about Murkmire. the argonian storyline and lore I personally do not find all that interesting. of course I am not saying it was a bad product/dlc put forth by zenimax, just that I didn't tickle my interest within TES universe/history/lore.

Absolutely nothing. The place is creepy, annoying, and other than chasing down an occasional item at a trader, offers no incentive to return. Furthermore, it will always be associated with "Nerfmire" and the onset of needlessly infuriating changes to combat. The only redeeming value I can think of is speed questing through the main story line gets you a fair amount of skill points.

Idk about memories, but zone design is top notch... I generally not a fan of swamps.. but this swamp is so detailed and immersive. Absolutely love it, I hope Skyrim will be made with same quality of detail.
Elsweyr was not bad, but... but something is off about it. Maybe too much architecture ideas were taken from IRL..

Some of the wacky NPC dialogue about Argonian culture and biology. Brings memories of some IRL "I'm cool with it but do I really need to know this?" moments.

Exploring that ship, the Dominus Fatum locale, on top of the waterfall. I got some nice views from up there, and used quite a few soul gems after falling from there.

My greatest joy and greatest sorrow in Murkmire: the prototype grappling hook plant:
I had fun achieving the memento, and I was greatly dissappointed when I bought the achievement plant, placed them in my house and could not use it to hop around.
With Elsweyr - the same again. I so hoped it would be achievable for housing. But no. Not yet. Perhaps not ever. *sigh*.

The rare drop of blueprints there is also very sad.

These points I did not like when Murkmire was new, and still do not. I liked the rest of it.

What I do not like in this event at all: the near unexistant drop chances for more than one murkmire chest a day. This smells of "Buy event tickets!!!! Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!Buy event tickets!!!!"- I dislike that strategy.
Don't wave the random drop carrot in front of our noses. Let us have a bite here and there.

Choixth. Loved her in summerset. And always enjoyed encouraging her and the random Altmer blaming her for ever growing crimes.

Love seeing her (again) in Murkmire just walking about.

Also... is that a boat... in a tree? (Loved the Hitchhiker's Guide plug on why it is in the tree.)

Yes! It's a boat on a tree, and you can get inside of it too. :)

I did enjoy the story and I appreciated that it wasn't particularly drawn out like some of the larger DLC zones. Additionally, it's probably one of the best and most detailed swamp zones I've ever seen in a video game.

Also, I got it for free. B)

Finding a few random quests I'd missed on previous visits, including Stibbons.

But my favorite memory is a silly thing, visiting on EU with my substandard main, who has a lot more trouble with the tougher mobs than my NA main does.

I was fighting some voriplasms with my dog tagging along, and I'm bashing away at a voriplasm with my battleaxe while my dog is blissfully standing there totally encased in the thing; all I could see of him was a somewhat darkish shape in the heart of the voriplasm. After I finally killed the thing, the bonehead just looked up at me with his usual vapid expression, clueless of the danger he'd been in. When I asked him why he hadn't tried to get away from it, he said something about feeling nice and tingly all over.

And before you ask-- No, I can't speak dog. But I'm fluent in bonehead and vapid expressions.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

    it was a group aspect.

Was hanging around at "Walks like Thunder" Worldboss.

    Someone said: "So you're Mark".
I was irritated and asked: "Do we know each other?"

It turned out he has seen that I sell furniture regularily in major guildstores, was so baffled that I quickly made a carpet he needed for almost half the price *lol

With so many players around you don't expect that someone remembers your name just from a shop-listing, even if the amount of furniture sellers lately seems to decline on xbox EU..

Empty Nest quest comes to mind first. This one is awesome in all ways. Even the choice in the end feels like a choice and not like most of the time in this game, an illusion of one. Overall, despite disgusting prologue Murkmire DLC story is quite good.

I’ve enjoyed the amazing story the quests tell, great npc characters and their back story, just how amazing the zone is itself.

Buuuut none of this compares to scuttle blooms and the scuttle sprint buff. I’ve spent pretty the past week sneaking around from quest to quest with the buff up. 🤓

The unique environmental hazards and scuttle blooms were one of the things that stuck out in my mind. Traps could have been a bit more challenging/punishing but at least there's something unique there which defines the Murkmire zone distinctively. Other zones in Tamriel are all a slight variation of the same, and they just become bland because the player isn't really surprised by anything in them.

The Fire rock memento was another neat feature, one which sadly hasn't had many useful applications outside a few quests and worthless achievements. The mechanic saw some very small use in S. Elsweyr but again has no real use outside the quests and that one achievement which gives you nothing. It would be nice if this grapple mechanic enabled useful shortcuts in daily situations or something, or access to loot caches, anything useful. I bet a lot of players would love to be able to place furnishings which they can grapple to...

Since the Celebration has begun, we’re interested in hearing some of your most memorable experiences in Murkmire! This could be anything from running Blackrose Prison with some friends to your favorite moment from a quest.

I am not a fan of argonians or swamps, so the most memorable experience was Nexus. The Golden Path. The tragedy of the endless search of Myndhal.
The Three Storm Sharks, episode 8 released on january the 8th.
One mer to rule them all,
    one mer to find them,
One mer to bring them all
