Disagree. I've been playing this game for four years and have gone through several stam characters looking for 'the one.' My Bosmer Stamcro is now my main, and I've had a lot of fun with it. It's also the strongest character I have currently.

Wardens are by far better and a lot more funny and diverse. Necros are a failure in ESO.
To each his own. I have a orc Stam necro and I'm loving it so far. I'm using Necro abilities with good damage and good survivability in PvE and Pvp. I think once I get maxed out I'm going to try healing though.
Still I do wish there was a undead army build. I expected to be able to summon undead being a Necro when I started the class.
Summoning undead SHOULD be the main thing about Necro.
Like that's it, period. They should have at least twice as many summons as Sorc and should be able to have a viable pet based build.
The fact that out of 15 skills and 3 ults they somehow managed to get it to where you summon less minions than Sorcerer, a class whose focus was never really supposed to be on summoning, is a crime within itself?
You can have fun on the class, but it certainly doesn't feel like a Necromancer. I'd say it feels more like a Death Knight, but in WoW death knights can have 2 skeletal body guards at all times, summon a big tanky zombie, a gargoyle, and can raise a huge army of like 8-12 random undead.
And it's not even a pet focused class in WoW....
This is where you can say "well that's wow and this is eso" and I'd be like, sure, I agree. If the class was called Death Knight and not necromancer.
The fact of the matter is most NPCs can summon 1-3 various undead. Including zombies, shades, many kinds of skeletons, spirits, etc. The fact we don't have this variety despite the NPC version of the class being shoved in our face every which way feels so bad.
I feel like they never originally intended on a necro class and that’s why sorcerer had the summons. ZO needs to revamp necro and do it right, and bite the bullet and do sorcerer right as well. Sorcerer can have summons but it should be atronachs (minus flesh of course as that’s strictly necro) and all else should be magic related. Change necro up and add a daedra related summoning from sorcerer as part of one of the classes. Or keep it as part of sorcerer, I don’t know. They could even take the blood magic away from sorcerer, keep daedra and add atronachs fully, and give the blood magic to vampires so that vampire is an actually skill line for once.
