If you do not play in or near zergs it is your internet/pc that is the problem. Myself and many others I know had zero issues in cyro or IC if it was 50ish or less in an area. Some have problems at 100. Above that ZoS and/or all clients seem to see issues.
I’d assume as a stamsorc massive zergs isn’t your thing. So it should be good for you

That’s fair. I’ve been away and haven’t been back to cyro since the event. So, maybe they did a good job server side resources for the event and then went back to below bare minimum.
My group of 6 consistent PvPers prior to the event didn’t see issues (avoiding the popular campaign) except one friend whom has below minimum system requirements. But then we never really had much more than 20 players in an area. ZoS could have adjusted resources from ok pre event, to good for event, to poor post event
From your experience it’s seems the code works ok now but they aren’t providing enough server resources outside of event.
Note during the events trial performance issues seem to spike. So, it does seem likely it’s a server resource issue (cheap)
Xbox EU been uplayable for the past 4 days, in cyro specifically you are fine out of combat; you step into combat the lag and delay begins.
I would advise waiting until further notice and not lose your anticipation for ESO, you'll be disappointed.

Xbox na has been unplayable for me since that small maintenance earlier in the week. I uninstalled yesterday going to reinstall shortly to see if it helps at all.... if not I have no choice but to shelve the game. Skills arent firing like they should It shouldn't take me 10 mins to clear a flag that my stamblade would normally shred through in 2
The 50 mb maintenance broke something on xbox because cyrodill combat has been unplayable ever since
I haven't played the game since the big DOT PVP meta. I am a PVP focused player that is thinking of returning and just had a couple questions. Is the Cyro server performance still atrocious and how has the class balance come along? I remember that ZOS hired a new combat team and they were working on a complete rebalance of just about everything but I didn't stick around to see what happened. For reference I play a stam sorc but don't care if they are the current meta or anything as long as they can compete with other builds and not get steamrolled.

They are focusing on a variety of performance upgrades this year, including a smaller game and patch size. We will all have to re download the game here soon. Performance wise, on PC NA, i do fine on a good( not gaming) newer computer on high settings. Every once in a while i get a bit of that "ghost" lag, but its not bad. I dont run in zergs or try to play on 4k ultra though. So performance is going to be heavily dependent on playstyle, settings, and hardware.
They are balancing butchering classes right now. The meta players are have a coronary, some had to be resuscitated. The casuals are in a state of confusion, wandering around aimlessly like soul shriven. If you can handle drastic class changes all year, you might be ok.
Steamrolling in Cyro is all about " My zerg is bigger than your zerg!" is it not? They fixed BGs. Now everyone must enter solo... It is to promote group play, you know like in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

Even if pc na is "okay" i still see streamers constantly complaining and rightfully so that the game is unresponsive laggy and buggy lately, even more than usual. And PC EU is just in a sad state, the irony is that PC EU seems to have a higher population, and there is 0 attention being given to the servers here.
