*** that. Way too much sustain. Drop BTB for war maidens, slot deep thoughts for stamina gen and a bit of mag gen, restoration staff for more mag gen and massive honor the dead heals. Use three infused spell damage glyphs, slimecraw set.
If you feel you need mag regen then use max health/ magic regen or max magic/magic regen and atro.
XD
I don't like max mag and NMA is too good for honor the dead. So keep it on both bars. Better to hit honor the dead once and swap back offensive than twice. Only issue with my setup is that when fighting more than two players its hard to keep sustain up, which is why I run orzagas for my only sustain if I get dogpiled a lot. But 1v1 or 1v2 going max damage is super effective.

I feel like it hits way less than my current build and only has 29k mag didn’t enjoy it lmao

Magplar is best played going for max spell damage because you get minor sorcery from class passives. Mag’s great, don’t get me wrong, especially since some abilities only scale with mag, but in general you have to make sacrifices.

My current build has 3k unbuffed 40k mag 27k health 12k Stam max resists etc that build did not feel great I infused all the jewellery too and waste of stones

You are a brave person. That is not alot of stamina. I had to boost my stamina up to 18k. Good players would lock me up too much.

If it calls I swap bloody Mara for spring loaded and I get 18k Stam 38k mag don’t really need Stam with the bubble or mist
I try to avoid proc 5 setsI run Skoria, New Moon Acolyte, and Lich > 5 heavy 2 light. Destro/sword and board with tri-stat food. Iv been enjoying this build in both BG and CP cyro. Usally rank top in BG deathmatch and can 1v3 or so in Cyro no problem. Maglar has been my main for 4 years now.

I mainly dps in BGs, so like a healing and damage mix. Think I run 10k stam and 1350 mag regen or something like that with NMA on my front bar.
I get away with it because I back bar a resto and heavy attack a lot, I like resto heavies the best. They give more resources plus major mending.
I get by with that much stam because I’m an Altmer which are awesome for Templars. If I’m immobilized I mist form, I usually block cancel it. It’s just like a dodge roll but costs less mag then it would in stamina. I never feel starved for stamina, moreso mag.
I think I’d be at 4k spell damage but I run 2 swift traits. They’re awesome. Otherwise those dizzies will keep landing and you get stuck block casting. Think I have 30k mag in no-CP. I also run the ritual mundus, helps a bit for survivability, and of course more healing, but I’m sacrificing damage.

I was thinking swift traits too is there any footage of it in action I spent a lot of transmute on that war maiden

I recommend trying out a 1 piece combo with resists, or one resist and one domihaus since you have low Stam. You don't need the ult gain when using crescent sweep, and you get a lot more value out of having 100% uptime on the resistances. Also, I'm not sure if you're using crit pots but be sure to try and add in some major prophecy to your build either using sun fire or inner light. You want the crit cause magplar gets a ton of crit damage and to ensure camo hunter procs. I would think about replacing living dark or solar barrage for that since you're already getting the minor sorc from PL. Just my 2 cents
P.S. I may be wrong here but I've never considered war maiden over nma cause I don't think it gets the benefit of major/minor sorc. I like to use mother's sorrow or spinners with nma usually for cp.

Warmaiden does get buffed by major and minor sorcery.
On magplar i would not run bloodspawn, if you arent in heavy or wear defensive sets, since you cleanse many dots and therefor lower its procchance.
Two times a monsterset with one piece bonus of resistances provides you with more defense.

Bloodspawn works incredibly on templar.. what are you talking about.
