Wardens winters revenge not re-adjusted

During the dragonhold patch they kept the cost low for Winters revenge and related morphs with a developers not they wanted it to stand out as a dot so it was considered something outside their standard.

now they lowered all the aoes back down so now, winters revenge is just on part, back in line with all the other aoes.

So, are you going to stand by your developers notes that you wanted it to stand out compared to other aoe dots? or you just going to ignore you did that last time and hope no one noticed.

You need to adjust it to stand out again, either raise the dmg or lower the cost more otherwise you just tossed your "developers note" from last patch.

It was indirectly buffed as it is the only source of chilled (now crit damage) on a current Magden build.

Winter's revenge does a lot of damage now and has a lower cost. Now that glacial presence gives a crit buff i think that the skill is fine.

Do you know exactly how much extra chance to chill Winters Revenge gives? With a Destruction staff and Glacial Presence, it should be 4% chance per dot tick, but the ability includes "This ability has a higher chance to apply the Chilled status effect." How much is that really?

I don't know exactly. I think the number on that can be tweaked still as the chance to proc it is still relatively small. But what i meant by "fine" was that i don't think it needs a cost reduction, damage buff or even a new effect as those have been suggested before. But yeah that is the only thing i think could use some tweaking, though this skill is very low priority right now.
