All my characters are female, because I didn’t get a choice IRL. Some of you may disagree, but being a guy sucks.

Plus, my real life character has the class Professor, and my only ultimate is “Final Exam”. However, I do have a perk called “faculty parking space“.

I tend to play either a Breton or a Redguard, possibly because I myself am a Reachman and my wife is definitely a Forbear.

Although if you ask my wife, she would say I should play a Klingon.

I actually do that in my game houses. I don't know why...but i cant help myself. I also put the inside pets outside before i leave the compound ( all my main houses have outside compounds).

When create a character, i talk to them and ask them who they are. If they don't answer me, i move to the next creation.

I try to loot on Sunday late at night. Like around 2:00 a.m. I have gotten rare drops during those hours, so I am convinced that the system is resetting, cleaning out, and dumping good loot each week during those hours. It's silly, I know.

I absolutely cannot create a Female character unless almost every slider is maxed, with the exception of the belly and shoulders. Body shape, arms, hands, legs, feet, breasts, all have to be maxed to large, or else she looks too much like a twig to me.

Name start with Zar

Zaria is an name I came up with making an character back in TES 3,
So I used that as an user name for TES related stuff.

However then creating my main in ESO, I used Zariba as its sound more Khajiit.
I made an alt called Zaria just to reserve the name, rebuild her later as an templar.
After returning to ESO I made some new caracters to replace the old bank alts and I decided to have them all start with zar.

Not a character thing but what is dumb (lazy) is me buying mats, knowing I'm sat on about 80 surveys I can't be bothered to farm lol.

Bring back the old days of less locations.

I also have a gajillion surveys and treasure maps that I am hoarding for who knows what reason...

It's almost like I think they'll be worth more the longer I hang on to them.

Maybe we should unlock a title once we hit x amount of them? "Treasure Guardian" for someone who has 200+ treasure maps? Or "Prepper"

for those of us who have treasure chests full of nothing but surveys in their houses... Stop looking at me like that!

Well not when creating characters, but talking about odd compulsive behaviour ...

After playing for over four years, you can guess I have every single food/alchemy ingredient in four digit amounts. However, I can't pass a single seasoning sack in the game without looting it. With every char, on every occasion (Delve/Dungeon/Trial). Doesn't matter if it involves stealing.

My favorite ridiculous thing to do: Create a hybrid build because everyone keeps telling me those are really bad. It's interesting to try and make them work. (and some of them actually do!) I like challenging myself, and let's be honest, most of Tamriel's monsters and quest-bosses are far too weak for just about any character that has reached level 50, no matter how badly assembled!

Oh, and every character I have is a Dual-Wielder. I know. Weird, right? (I'm a Drizzt Do'Urrden fanboy, I admit it!)

Okay, when I created my first character, I chose a Dunmeri female, and named her Veylenna Hlaalu. That should tell you everything you need to know.

I only play dark elf nightblades. Seriously. I have 7 level 50 dark elf nightblades. 6 stamblades and 1 magblade. All DPS.

I've made loads of other characters in the 5 years I've been playing but all have been deleted -- most before reaching 50. Some after reaching 50. A couple after reaching 50 and having a fully leveled mount. I've tried dark elves of other classes -- deleted. I've tried nightblades of other races -- deleted. I've tried to make tanks but haven't made it past level 42 before they get the axe. It's not that I need the character slots; I just don't like anything else.

And they are all similarly named. Each name begins with "Dre" (which goes back to my original Ultima Online character from 1998) and most have a last name associated with a heavy metal band.

I collect: pets, shiny stones, bugs, books and unique treasures.

Names always start with Mal and are given with respect to the appropriate background and lore.

Looks include long, silvery/gray or white hair and black eyeliner and lipstick. Each also has a distinct colour scheme, consisting of the 3 colours I wear the most: black, white and silver with the occasional vermilion red and deep purple.

I must: turn off all lights, have food and water bowls in front of every pet and mount, make sure everyone is safe inside and relaxing on a chair or sofa in a comfortable outfit and has repaired/sold/deconstructed any loot.

My main is always a tank, alt a healer and 3rd a DPS. All my characters live together and differ slightly in age. They each have their own room and see eachother as family. All the pets have their own rooms too, of course. We don't befriend others easily and we all have severe trust issues, originating from a difficult childhood.

Greeting politely is important.

Enjoying the music of the many talented bards of Tamriel is too.

Crying over dead Dragons and tossing roses over them is necessary.

I'm a hoarder. But an organised one. I collect every map, every survey.

Daedra are my spirit animal; I have secret crushes on certain Xivkin, Molag Bal and Lord Warden. But don't let them know that.

In Imperial City Prison, when the Watcher speaks, my heart skips a beat. In a good way.

And last but not least, I have legally changed my middle name to Dovahkiin.

I make all my character name start with the letter K.
I make my healer male, tanks female and DPS are also male.
My first character is always a buffer or healer first that can also be played as a DPS.
My second character is always a tank and only a tank.
If I make a 3rd character, it is typically a pure DPS character.

I made one character of each race, buying the extra slot (and Imperial) so I could do that. Also buying Any Race, Any Alliance so they could all be DC (because the first two, the ones I came up with before even buying the game, were Breton and Redguard, and I didn't feel like thinking about faction locks). They are all women. I've tried to come up with a clever acronym for the Glorious Ladies of Daggerfall, but nothing yet (to be fair, I haven't tried that hard).

I always do some research before naming them. Some of them I particularly like:

- Ksatria Testudo, Imperial DK tank. Ksatria is Indonesian for knight/warrior; Testudo is a Roman shield formation.
- Studies-with-Aja, Argonian Warden Healer. Just gonna leave a link for this one:

Others are just words I like, or ridiculous references (my werewolf is named There Castle, and my magsorc is Some Call Me Tim. Necro tank is Drop Dead Elfred, and stamcro is Exquisite Dead Girl. That last one is a reference to a thing (TMBG song) that's a reference to another thing (exquisite corpse, the drawing game, for which there is also an app now))

But I made them over several months, not making a new character until something hit me that I wanted to do with that race. Basically, something the racial passives were suited to that I also found myself wanting to play. Dunmer was last, ironically because they can be good at most things (ended up being a magDK).

And...then I wanted to play a Nightblade tank. So now I have two Nords (there was a really great word I found for her last name...can't find it now...but it was perfect for a Nord Nightblade, started with Scae...I think.) Which means I have to buy twice as many Nord style stones when I restock for writs. I love the character, but she's ruined everything. It was inevitable, though; whatever the next expansion after Skyrim is will probably add a new job class, and I will almost certainly want at least 2 of them.
