You need to rethink how putting a set like unchained aggressor into the game... We are in a tank meta where people already build to survive you are now offering reliable major berserk to these same builds combines with something like onslaught you have now given them insane kill potential while being just as unkillable as they are this patch. Thanks to off-healing and how easy it is to stack % damage mitigation modifiers.. That isn't changing this patch which is what would've curved the tank meta all releasing this set does is give ball zergs and tanks major berserk for doing nothing, but eating a CC. It's lazy set design without any forethought on what it will do to pvp. If you want to put something that powerful as a set proc you better make darn sure it has some stringent proc conditions and it needs to be more than getting cced. It doesn't even make sense.

    Major protection on steadfast hero for what, using an ability you'd already be using?

    Major protection while sprinting on a 5pc?

    About time they added a source of major berserk to the game accessible to all classes.

    Increasing damage or decreasing healing does not "make the meta more tanky."

    Some players will react by building more tanky, but they will be making sacrifices to their damage, sustain, and utility, just to obtain the same degree of braindead face tanking they previously enjoyed. PvP tank builds were zero issue back when it meant you couldn't damage or heal anyone.

    More important than increasing the damage ceiling though, is restoring pressure damage mechanics.

    They could delete sets instead of adding them.

    I agree the answer to changing the meta is to increase buff dots back to a good place, especially class dots they are useless in their current state. Offensive sustain took a hit in dragonhold, but they didn't touch defensive sustain in anyway. Remember when you had to build into perma block now you can perma block through cp alone throw on a sturdy trait or two and u can tape down right click. Off-healing is out of control a couple extended ritual stacks, and some rapid regen, or a twilight within 30 meters of the fight and people don't even need to cc break they get healed laying on the ground. Defile has been nerfed into uselessness. So you cant pressure peoples HP and you can't debuff their healing so you have to 100 to 0 everyone.

    This set doesn't change that. It does the opposite. It'll force people into tankier set ups to off-sest fighting against the buff, and it gives access to the buff to tanks and ball groups. Again its lazy set design, and further proof the dev team has no idea whats going on in their own game.. To change the meta you have to buff dots, change the way off-healing works and nerf forms of healing, and brinf defile back into the game as a viable counter to massive amounts of healing..
