It ruins the feng shui of the character select. Instead of just showing 9/9 or 8/9 now it has a block of text above all my characters. It is intrusive. It should be a lot less in your face.ghrowlb14a_ESO wrote: »....and...this bothers you... why exactly??

You see the problem here? I recently maxed out my character slots, I had 9 on this account previously, with only 8 used. I make a 9th character, and now when I log in, switch characters, etc. I have this text above all my characters. Ridiculous. The only way I can get rid of it, is to not have my slots full OR I would assume max out all character slots available. I already get crown store ads when I log on, but you are telling me, I am gonna have this TEXT above all my characters now too?! This isn't even to mention my floating mounts on the character select. You are trying to drive me INSANE!
The problem is them telling me that I can buy more slots on the crown store. I know I can buy more slots on the crown store, I do not need a permanent reminder as long as I have no open slots currently.MeinChurro wrote: »

Is the problem having 9 characters?
Why do you have so many characters....exactly?
When creating threads/posts we ask that they be kept civil, constructive, and within the guidelines of the rules in place. If there may be any question in regards to the rules, please feel free to review them here.Trolling or Baiting: The act of trolling is defined as something that is created for the intent to provoke conflict, shock others, or to elicit a strong negative or emotional reaction. It’s okay and very normal to disagree with others, and even to debate, but provoking conflict, baiting, inciting, mocking, etc. is never acceptable in the official The Elder Scrolls Online community. If you do not have something constructive or meaningful to add to a discussion, we strongly recommend you refrain from posting in that thread, and find another discussion to participate in instead. It is also not constructive or helpful to publicly call out others and accuse them of trolling, or call them a troll—please refrain from doing so. If you genuinely believe someone is trolling, please report the post or thread to the ESO Team, and leave it at that.

Yes, the character selection screen could use some serious changes.
Yep. I think it was Jim Sterling who called this a "buy to buy" model. Games are just a storefront offering you the possibility of spending additional and unlimited amounts of money on virtual items.RefLiberty wrote: »We sunk in premium shops, clown crates, care packages premium boosters long time ago, not Eso but gaming industry in general. Once the industry started to make more money than Hollywood, about late 90's, greedy sub-humans in ties and black suits calling themselfs market, sales and what not managers stepped in.
Good old days where you bought the product, and on long term mmo projects you had subscription to support development and the game running, are long gone.
Now you buy virtual shop called game to buy more.
#puke.
