Titles don't prove s**t coz all the carries being sold.
And rewards are s**t lately coz noobs cry that they are locked behind some work and not given away for free.
The wide player base are people who are not chasing the meta and squeezing to be the best.
As a business you want to cater for all yes. But you are going to sway a little more to the wide population (££££), and most people were being put off by DLC dungeons as they were too hard. Locking personality's and other things behind content were putting people off from even trying it.
But I do agree that you need to get something for doing the hard content, so I have no point really just rambling lol.

its decreasing PER DLC
if people are so dumb and dont understand for some years we received only 1 dungeon dlc, not two
its not only about poor reward, but also HARDEST ACHIEVEMENT
lets speak about dungeon rewards for high level veteran activity PER DLC
imperial city
- 4 dyes
- pet
shadow of the hist
- title
- 2 skins
horns of the reach
- 2 titles
- dye
- hat and skin
dragon bones
- 4 titles
- dye
- personality and skin
wolfhunter
- 4 titles
- dye
- personality and skin
wrathstone
- 2 titles
- dye
- pet and skin
scalebreaker
- 4 titles
- dye
- outfit style
- pet and memento
harrowstorm
- 4 titles
- dye
- outfit style and body markings
its not only about poor reward, but also HARDEST ACHIEVEMENT in 4-men dungeons ever met with poor reward
harrowstorm introducing hardmode+speedrun+no-death+kill-all-encounters achievement during single run with.... title reward

But I also don't see the issue personally? I haven't done every Vet dungeon yet and I probably won't do every single vet achieve since it's not really my slice of cake and I left my days of hardcore achievement hunting behind in WoW.
And Mountain God was already added back in Dragon Bones so... I'm confused why it's now an issue that the exact same type of achievement now grants a title instead of nothing but points?
Edit: Also Apex Predator, Relentless Raider, Depths Defier, Pure Lunacy, Leave No Bone Unbroken, Defanged the Devourer, Nature's Wrath.
You word it as if Harrowstorm was the first to add this but it's Harrowstorm that's being added that these actually have a reward outside of just points.
For anyone curious, I made a little chart of all the dungeon/trial/arena rewards. Dyes are only mentioned when they're the only reward for a particular clear.
As you can see, ZoS is still trying to work out the best formula for delivery of rewards for dungeons. What I propose:
- Imperial City required that you get Challenger for both ICP and WGT before getting the pet. However, Imperial City DLC was not a true dungeon DLC since the sewers all have their own set of achievements and rewards as well.
- Shadows of the Hist gave a personality for entering either of the dungeons the first time, and different skins in each for Challenger.
- The following 3 dungeons did rewards for entering the first time, titles for vet clears, titles for hardmodes, and then something cosmetic for Challenger. Obviously, people weren't happy that they needed challenger to get the cosmetic items.
- The latest 2 dungeons swapped things around, with the cosmetic rewards being awarded upon vet completion, with titles for challenger instead.
By adopting the proposed reward structure, everyone can benefit as the cosmetics are at the lower rung of the ladder so people don't feel obligated to run multiple clears for challenger or feel that these cosmetics are completely out of reach. It fits with ZoS's intent to provide more desirable rewards to a larger portion of the playerbase.
- Normal: Same as now
- Vet Clear: Cosmetic reward (following latest reward structure)
- Hard Mode: No Reward
- Challenger: Title
- Trifecta: Title
Titles then would be reserved for those that want to go beyond that and get Challenger and/or Trifecta achievements. I'm not opposed to Hard Mode getting a title necessarily but, since a Hard Mode clear is one of the requirements for the Challenger achievement and if ZoS wants to keep the reward structure to two titles per dungeon, I feel Challenger and Trifecta are the better choices. This also more closely follows the reward structure that is in place for trials.

I would have done them. But I've stopped bothering since they removed skins/personalities.
Buying skins from crown-store doesn't give you the same satisfaction or sense of accomplishment. That feeling of working very hard getting something you really wanted gets you hooked on the game.
And not all is so bad, i can not say the names, of who kill the game, but you easely can trace them by their dids!!!
The one, who put skeletal animation on indrick- when it fly not run the ground.
The one, who promote new twitch drops system and remove old rewards for players. Twitch drop, eso+, and etc.
New combat team, and those, who do not fix skills, the one who work eith party finder this 3 years.
The manager who promote new rewards and communication with player (new marketing strategy)
Thus people ruins the work of people who really do their jobs.
It will not be true, if i do not say:
Animations, models, design is still really good.
But all this hard work is ruined by incompetence of that people. And those who makes new "marketing strategy".
Such incompetence really can ruin all.
Just remember the situation with bags in fallaut.

The truth is much better way to do thingth.
There will alwaysbe problems on another way , but may be they will not show itself in an instant. But will be in future.
