[Inventory Pet] When will it be applied Account-wide?

I have the inventory pet collected. When will it be applied to all servers on which I have characters, since it is Account wide? @ZOS_GinaBruno

Account wide just means on that server for some reason. Nothing carries over to the other server except ESO plus.

Exactly. But "account wide" means something different to basically the rest of the MMO world. So maybe this pet was meant to be different?

First of all, the issue which you describe is not an error in the implementation of the software, nor is it a flaw in the design of a feature. That is, the issue is Not A Bug. It is a feature of the multiple mega-server systems, as explained below. Note: please refer to the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum before reporting what you believe to be a bug.
... When will it be applied to all servers on which I have characters, since it is Account wide?
By "sever" do you mean each of the six mega-servers, respectively? The six mega-servers are PC\Mac NA, PC\Mac EU, XBox One NA, XBox One EU, PlayStation 4 NA, and PlayStation 4 EU.

In my observation and experience, ZOS applies the term "account wide" to mean one mega-server. What it really means is that a benefit is applied -- or an item such as a Pet or an Outfit is available -- to all characters which are created on the same mega-server.

Realize that each mega-server has its own database system, separate from the other mega-servers. Consequently, if you play characters on two or more mega-servers, then you must obtain the same benefit or same item for each respective mega-server separately.

As a matter of convenience, while running a PC and/or a Mac, a player can use the same account to log-in to the game on the NA mega-server, and also to log-in on the EU mega-server -- but not simultaneously. However, a different account is required to also play on the two XBox One mega-servers, and to also play on the two PlayStation 4 platform mega-servers, respectively.

Please discuss issues such as this one in the General Discussion Forum.

I suspect the OP is pointing out the misleading phrasing in the description for the purchased item, for which they spent actual money. Since this is a pattern with ZOS in ESO (the "account wide" term being used for Crown Store items which are actually only applied to the server on which they are purchased) it could be construed as a "different meaning" when they use the term, but since the commonly accepted meaning of the term is not the one that ZOS is applying, it could also be construed as false advertising.

    Basically, yes.
It says all characters account wide. I have some characters on my account that don't have it. That they are on a different server is not relevant.
If it were only server wide, they should say "server wide". Or maybe even not say anything out of the ordinary at all, because then they can fall back on players relying on the behavior of previous items.

They made a special mention here, so I am checking if there is special intent.

The fact that some characters are on a different mega-server is exactly the reason that they don't have the benefit or the item which you obtained.

Granted, on its face, it is misleading for ZOS to use the description "account wide" instead of stating that the benefit or item will be available to all characters which are on the same mega-server as the character you were playing at the time that you obtained it -- whether it was the result of in-game activity or of purchasing a benefit or item via the Crown Store.

However, before you all start making accusations of fraud, I suggest that you review the current ZOS Terms of Service to see whether the term "account wide" is defined, and, if so, how it is described.

Frankly, IMHO your persistence on insisting that ZOS make all "account wide" benefits and items apply to all characters on all mega-servers to which you log-in with a particular account is not likely to result in any change to the way things are. So we are just wasting our time. .....

    Enjoy the game!

Good catch on the miswording. However, I doubt Zos will make a change as it we are now more than 4 years into the crown store and everything purchased in the crown store has only been available on that server.

OP. I suggest you ask for you crowns back if they will not make it available on both servers. That is likely your only recourse.
