I play stam in openworld but magsorc in sewers and bgs and curse, endless, vamp drain, c frag kills 9/10 people, most before they can even cc break. It feels the same as ruge cage met pre patch, no sensation in such an easy kill

What's your point? How many LA can you do in 60 seconds? Way more than 110k worth of damage, I can tell you that for sure. So why not make a post, "LA, spammable soul assault?"

Magnum shot
Bombard
Lethal arrow
Fozzilise
Mass hysteria
Turn evil
Necro totem
Dk leaps
These abils all are buggy and desyncs the player hit and server so u have very little chance to defend against it.
All desyncing abils have to go pointless to nerf abils 1 by 1 resulting in the next fotm "fear based sneaky anim/knockback" to surface, cus it will ppl aint stupid you know.
Either we accept this as part of the gameplay, get hit by desync u die unless ur lucky. Or we nerf them all away in one stroke.

Apart from leap none of those will hit for 10k whilst also giving an expedition buff and a considerable heal

Its is a channel this cannot kill you unless zerged, paired with other MUCH HIGHER BURST DAMAGE abilities and you are STUCK in an animation type CC that de syncs you and you are unable to break out. Then you die.
But that condition is true as well for:
Meteor knockback and stun desync?
Magnum shot
Bombard
Lethal arrow
Fozzilise
Mass hysteria
Turn evil
Necro totem
Dk leaps
Why would anyone playing META let a 3000 dot tick 4 times for sad 12k dmg when they can:
Haunted curse > overload into ele weapon> fury into meteor > vamp drain > finish with frag for sick dmg.
Frag alone tooltips for like 15-16k on CP sorc with 45k magicka. Why would you waste 2GCD for 12k dmg when u can drop 2x frags? Or spamm exec 2 times or any other higher burst spammable?
Problem ALL mentioned skills have is that animation CC breaks the sync between two players.
Player animation CC on you, then block cancel. On your screen he is already stunned. On your enemies screen he isn't stunned yet (sliding etc).
Next gcd you load him with your burst..meanwhile 300-400 ms later on ur enemies screen he gets stunned/sliding and are stuck in the animation for x time due to regular latency + server tick rate + sync issues causing you to eat the full burst of 2-3-4 skills. If two ppl hit you with any profiecciency your super dead.
Hence the whinging about certain abils, you think vamp drain is the problem it isnt. You drag vamp drains average BURST dmg into the discussion to bring more weight to 'your complaints' as if it has overwhelming damage?
It is rediculous its like toddlers in a playground arguing over sand.

It's funny, you list skills that are all either ultimates or don't do as much damage + heal + CC + give a minor expedition/ultimate.
Further, the picture was added because some people don't believe that it can actually tick that high
As for why the sorc decided to use the skill over other skills, don't ask me to answer that because I don't know. However I don't think it takes much to infer why that skill would have been used in that situation. Just look at the rest of the damage in comparison for a good reason why.
And do not say "no one would take that many ticks" - of course no one would willingly do it, but the CC is bugged on it. And that's not speculation, it's the most likely reason why the skill got changed in the first place.
But that's okay you are free to believe what ya want.
