ESO is sold based on PVE legacy anyway.
As someone said, they need to be contained in that map of theirs, with no influence on game whatsoever.
Game has been broken so many times by trying to balance that game "mod", su much waste.
So much money being wasted on pvp, so much nerfs/buffs, so much work hours.
If there is no pvp Eso, could have funded a space force program or at least ESO 2 engine.
So much resources.
Make PvP secondary feature, Make ESO great again.

Absolutely ZERO thought or effort has gone into maintaining ANY kind of balance in any of the PVP game modes. Below level 50 being some of the absolute worst of it. If you can't craft top-tier gear, buffs and potions (which can take months to research enough traits to do) and pay to unlock the extra skill lines (maxed out using a high level main) using Crowns, you have absolutely NO chance of competing AT ALL.
It's not a question of skill or class. It's not a question of builds. You can't "git gud". It's a pure "craft and pay to win" game and there's nothing you can do about it.
If you're looking for a PVP game to jump into. This isn't it. Don't waste your time or your money.

Even though you're being sarcastic, I know of at least one case where there's a tiny speck of truth in your statement.
One of the overland PvE sets that caught my eye was Thunderbug's Carapace, because of its 5-item bonus. I managed to collect five pieces of that set in Heavy Armor, which is the type of armor that my NA main wears.
I was doing daily quests in Wrothgar for tickets during the Wrothgar event, and my quest for the day was to kill Sir Marq Tailas in Watcher's Hold. As I was working my way through the delve, I decided to see if I could kill off the lower-level enemies just by standing still and letting them attack me.
I sheathed my greatsword and just stood there, letting the various members of the Pale Watch attack me. As I took damage, every 3 or 6 seconds my armor would zap them, and the more they attacked me, the more my armor zapped them. My NA main is tanky enough that I could survive their attacks with no trouble, and I cleared most of the delve that way-- not the boss, obviously, but all of his minions. It was kind of funny.

Accept this truth about the game or move along.
If you cant pvp or don't have the patience to learn that's fine but don't be a whiny b***h about it.

I love it when people think their opinions are absolute fact.
Especially because No one's opinion is absolute fact.
And then they draw their line in the sand and demand that everyone adhere to it. It's just so cute.
IMHO

1) There is absolute minimal room to improve in a system that allows longer term players to drastically outgear newer ones to the point of being able to kill them in 2-3 hits. It's a .50 Cal vs a BB gun. The only "skill" left to them is to spend the entire match trying to avoid those experienced players and hope to find other regular geared players. The only way to "out-skill" the gear difference and win matches is if the geared player is an absolute waste of space who only focuses kills in a non-deathmatch BG.
2) "they can get gear from guild mates and other players" Yeahhh... great. Assuming they join the game with instant knowledge of the ins and outs of the games systems, such as the multiple guild system, alchemy, food buffs, gear traits and the crafted sets... because every new player obviously already knows everything about the game they've just joined BEFOREHAND...
3) "I can do well in basic gear" =O guess what?! ... You're being matched with OTHER REGULAR PLAYERS. Congratulations. Stick at it and you'll find out the difference soon enough.
4) "insert petty insult because I can't hold a conversation and have nothing of any value or input to say". Grow up. Get some real friends. Get out more.
How to improve the experience -
A) Have a tutorial quest that involves playing out the basics of BGs at level 10. Simple text based descriptions aren't good enough. Have a small simulated instanced BG quest showcasing the basics of Capture, Chaosball etc against NPCs.Supply 1-2 sets of gear after the starter quest along with a small amount of food buff items and potions (Impregnable would be a solid PVP starter set, supplying tri-stat and crit resist). This introduces players to set bonuses and buff items. Explain the importance of these items, gear set bonuses and gear traits.
C) Scale better. It needs to go beyond level scaling. Stats need to scale towards players TOTAL stat pool, bringing everyone up comparative to the strongest in the lobby. Experienced players will still be able to craft specifically tailored sets and items, but newer players will still be able to somewhat compete, without feeling like they're wearing wet paper towels for armour and being shredded to pieces in under 5 seconds.

You can’t expect to have the knowledge, the gear, or even the MEANS to get the gear when logging in for the first time. Put in the time. Put in your dues.

Why should people be expected to put time into a game that in no way supports them as new customers? People don't seem to understand what I'm getting at here... I'm not saying EXP players should be on the same field as totally new players, I'm saying THE GAP between the two is utterly ridiculous to the point that skill means next to nothing.

Someone legit posted saying pvp has only TWO events every year. While PVE has many every month or so. If you dont like pvp then DON'T! Pvp it's that plain and simple, I have seen below level 50s wreck Champion point players.
[Edit to remove bait]
Champion points are ACCOUNT-WIDE, just because they're not level 50 doesn't mean they don't have CP lol - you just can't see it!
My dude, Champion Points are disabled in Battlegrounds.
... and a pre-50 can't fight a level 50 in a BG...
Of course they can, they have stat scaling to bring them in line with each other
BGs use levels 10-49... literally says it in the description.

1) There's tons of space to improve, you'd just rather walk in circles complaining about everything else.
2) Joining a guild is easier than ever and if you dont want to you can ask in zone. If you join pvp and you dont understand bugs like food, traits, etc. that's on you and no one else. These exist in PVE as well, they're not magically specific to PVP.
3) No, these players took the time you didnt to improve themselves. It's odd that these players are fighting every other chump in the game but you claim to only be fighting the best of the best. Doesnt work that way.
A) That's not going to improve your game. They already learn gear importance in PVE and why would you supply crappy started sets as a solution. That just means you'll get a set you dont use or need.
C) Extra stats aren't going to make you a better player
