So I had a question about skills slotted in your secondary weapon, Skills that have an ability or are determined by being slotted in to your Hot Bar, are they in effect while you are on another weapon?

✭✭✭✭✭No. If a passive skill says that it's based on abilities in your hotbar, it's referring to your active bar only.----

✭✭✭✭You only receive xp to the active bar.
The best way to manage xp for skill leveling is to put all the skills you want to level on hot bar two. When it's time to turn in a quest switch to that hot bar so that it gets all that juicy quest xp.
That way you can keep all your performance skills at the ready, and still get your other skills leveled.
