This is supposed to be a fun pvp group event and so many cant find groups it's depressing.

For a group event that is opened to all players it is poor. EP is dominating every map how?

This game is out of balance.

3rd event day and im playing alone and hardly getting any AP best i get in a day is my 3 tickets.
I feel like a rejected outcast in high school. Im an adult and pay for a game that is making me feel depressed. Yes I made a post about not getting into any groups recently but this post is aimed at you zos. Please acknowledge us. I play some pvp and pve and im sure eso encourages us to play bothbut it doesn't work that way does it?
In order to get good in pvp and be somebody that gets a second look at and invited to join groups you have to live and breathe pvp and ideally have the reflexes and energy of a 20 year old. I have neither plus i want to also invest time into my pve activities.

Cyro is just a big clique now and new people and or returning players are mocked and laughed at..Zos spend some time in NA PC Cyro and see for yourselves.
I wont hold back any longer from expressing my frustration.

Make campaigns for returning players and newbies then and let the leet have their own leetist campaigns but pls do something or just make the event berries accessible to both pvp and pvp for all events.

They would be better off removing PVP from Cyro and IC and turning them into PVE Zones with Cyro being 3-4 zones.

Then focusing on developing BGs and maybe an Arena style instanced pvp. Cyro is nothing but a big hemorrhoid on the bum of Tamriel at this point.

Sure, but overall this creates the problem that there are too many people who want a group and not enough people to lead one. It's kind of absurd to blame this on elitist cliques when it's mainly reluctance to lead that keeps people from playing in a group, and I include myself in this.

Nobody forced you, start a group if there is no hold, town or rss lit, simply choose one and charge in.
If you can’t lead there is a likelihood that someone you picked up can lead while you are in charge of recruiting. This very easy to do if you re in peak hours.

On Bahlokdan last night, at 3am EP got stomped. When I left, we had only 2 keeps. I wouldn’t call this “dominating”.

What happened exactly that got you in this mood? Sounds like quite a story if you mention "mocked and bullied". If you could elaborate maybe there will be more insight in your problem of not getting into a group.

Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.

It's not surprising that the regular players aren't too keen on this event- long map queues (they really should introduce additional maps at busy times...), loads of PVE geared players running around being free kills, and lots of pve players who lfg all day but never think to form one, join a pvp guild, get on discord/ts/whatever, etc.

Experienced groups running using voice comms probably don't want you to join...

Best way is to form a group yourself with fellow non-voice comm people - sooner or later a leader will emerge.

And ofc in the meantime you'll get plenty of rage quitters who quit the group due to a wipe (after they suicide into an open keep) or because they want to back seat drive. And then you wonder why regulars aren't that interested in picking those sort of players up.

Or the players who bring zero siege, repairs, res tents etc and then moan...

    I don't know why you'd be having a problem finding a group.
It kinda sounds like you'd prefer not to.

When I checked through the available campaigns, looking for an AD dominated one, they were certainly not all AD dominated, but I did not have any trouble finding one.

The event tickets are very accessible to players of all PVP skill levels. There are multiple ways to get tickets solo, most of which don't even require fighting other players.

The easiest quests to complete solo are:
Scouting Missions: ride to the specified resource
Town Quests: pick a town and do one daily quest. Chorrol and Cheydinhal don't even have PVP flags
Solo a Resource: A decent PVE damage build ought to be able to defeat the NPC guards at a resource

As for grouping...how exactly do you suggest that ZOS should go about forcing players to group up in Cyrodiil?
If you want a guaranteed PUG, Battlegrounds sounds like the place for you.

You don't even need to be in a group to make AP in Cyrodiil. Just pay attention to zone chat or the zone map long enough to figure out where the big fights are and go there. Bring siege weapons (ballista for walls/doors, oil/meatbag for players) and you'll have an easier time getting AP from those big fights attacking or defending keeps.

Or you can start your own group.
That's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you give it a go, the big things to keep in mind are that an effective group needs to:
    1. Stick together
    2. Bring siege if you want to attack/defend keeps
Even pure PVE players can do great in Cyrodiil if they manage those things.

Frankly, if you can use siege weapons instead of light attacking the walls and you can stay on crown, I'd be delighted to have you in a PUG group.

Edit: I see you are on PC/NA. Grab the addon CyrHUD or one like it and you should have no problems finding where the big fights are.

That's the exact reason OP can't find a group, though. Event causes an influx of new players but it does pretty much nothing to population of capble group leaders since those who care about it were already playing PvP long before.

So either you get over yourself and make your own group or run solo.

Yes. To be fair, more often its players who want to skirmish outside the walls, not realizing that their opponents will freely rez up until the keep flags when the wall hits 50%, but yeah.

I'm always like "I know you all want that delicious AP inside that keep, but we've got to siege the walls down first..."

What you most seem in need of is good leadership, and the big group follows. Good leadership is not exactly something ZoS can help with, this is down to the community to organically mobilise itself. And the notion that you need skilled players is kind of misleading, because you really don't. You just need a lot of players, and the leadership to push them through.

If someone as clueless about ESO as Asmongold could capture keeps, on a level 10 toon, simply by mobilising people, literally anyone could do it. But it's the culture that evolved in ESO that is kind of preventing this organically coming together of players.

You do not have to PvP in NA PC Cyrodiil for more than a few minutes per day during this event. No need to do something that sounds like it is making you unhappy.

If you just want event tickets, pick a mostly empty campaign, do one scouting quest every day, and leave Cyrodiil as soon as you turn in the one quest.

If you just want AP for leveling Alliance War skills, do battlegrounds, double AP during this event if you use the scroll. You are guaranteed AP and make decent progress on leveling Alliance War skills every match, even if you lose.
