1 second + lag, constant DCs and abilities not firing even in no cp campaign... was looking forward to trying PVP again this event but I guess you really don't give a ***.

EDIT: Just realized that Laatvulan is actually a CP campaign, so ignore that part of it... but yeah performance is as bad as it ever was *sigh*

Heck, I'm about to give up on this game for good unless they fix the patching/install issues this game has. I have 120 gigs of free space to install the game. The game itself says I need 87 gigs free. But when I go to install it I get you don't have enough hard drive space message and it shuts down. I'm am so sick and tired of ZOS just ignoring this issue with the game. They never even address the issue here on the forums.

The new campaigns are fine (atleast the 7 day ones i played on), i dont experience any lags/crashes and very mininal memory leak even after 6 hours of being in there, so if you have issues on those campaigns too i dont know what to tell you...

    @Castagere

Well, they sort of did address this issue here on the forums multiple times by stating that the game needs twice the size of whatever patch (or full install) for installation.

Once installed it takes up xxx GB as mentioned in the system requirements, during install it needs double that.

PS: They are supposedly working on improving the launcher, including its ridiculous download size and storage requirements for patches but it's been like that since beta, so i'm really not expecting much at this point.

Exactly. I mean even the comment from gina in your sig is mind blowing.. Its from 2016! Some of us have been complaining about it since before then. Its honestly shameful, I mean i hope they really focus on performance now, like they say, but why should we believe them this time?

Clearly they knew, or at the very least @ZOS_GinaBruno knew, that it was pretty damn bad back in 2016. And patch after patch, year after year, they have dont nothing to improve it. Only making it worse, at least on xbox. And they ignored so many of us for years, maybe commenting about the issue once a year.

And the funniest thing is people from that thread still make excuses for them. Right along side of the new people who make excuses. Amazing.

honestly i think the performance and latency on cyrodiil quite better at most part (i'm not big pvp-er), i still remember a year ago that it literally unplayable, but what do i know, i play from SEA, i'm probably just accustomed to high ping lag lol

what is actually the main issue that the game has? is it just bad code? is it the megaserver architecture? is it the size/volume of players? is it the router / providers?

What people keep forgetting is just to know what problem is it is not always easy to fix do anyone of you how many lines of code this is to make simple login launcher that ESO has??

This is a lot trust me and go through every single line of code to found a bug take time if you have big game like ESO and I'm not defending ZoS most of this problem should have been fixing day 1 but now we are here and that say they are going to try to fix most of them this year and honest we don't know if that has work of go through all line of code all this year other

As with any software, or MMO or game or anything to do with computers, at all, you will encounter issues. You cannot have hundreds of thousands of lines, or for that matter, millions of lines of code without issues.

However, with that being said, I have yet to experience anything outside the normal that negatively affects my gameplay. Perhaps it's with your computer, your internet connection or some other piece of hardware or even software you use. I am not saying you are not experiencing the issues you are, only that in blaming the ZoS or the EOS developers, you might be disregarding something that is actually causing you these issues, like an older router, or wireless that is too far away, or EMF around your computers connections, whatever it might be.

You think that is bad? The game has always said my password is wrong the first time I have entered it since I have started playing the game. I am not even joking, it does it every time on the first login for the day...!

I am playing in this event, so in my case the performance is average. Things are fine if there are about 10 people in the area, but if you get more people doing stuff, performance drops, lag increases, and sometimes I get a brief loading screen just from getting close to a conflict.
Besides this, everyone is so tanky, it feels like shooting wet noodles. I find PvP to be the poorest experience in ESO.

    I don't get it.

The Company announces major performance improvements are COMING (might be late February, but i thought he said early March )....

And people get on Forums and complain 'There's No Improvement' !!!!

Huh. I wonder why there's no improvement yet?

You realise that Matt Firor first mentioned this nearly a full year ago, right? And that it took until after the summer for them to start their monthly status updates? And that these updates have been little more than repeating the same things Matt Firor said before? And that as of now there have been few if any actual improvements?

I get that this stuff takes time, but after several years of complaining and waiting for fixes, you shouldn't get to criticize people for being impatient. If anything, ZOS should be on the line for being deaf and slow to act.

Not to mention the memory overhaul ALREADY was launched back in october, yet the memory leak persists more than ever. If this change in feb doesnt fix this games issues, im leaving for new world when it comes out. Im tired of them saving money in areas they shouldnt and spending money on things they shouldnt.

And the other part of their first big step in their performance fix, the new and improved Activity Finder, was to say the least an unmitigated disaster we're still dealing with the fallout from. It is only now mostly working but how many more months (and how many server burndowns) did it take to get to even this state of partial functionality? I'm kinda dreading the forthcoming big change to the game's code because history have shown that it is not going to be fully workable and it is going to be a long, painful and bumpy ride to get it fixed enough to be tolerable.
