They should add a few PVE campaigns and be done with it. Then people who want to PVP dont have the campaigns clogged with people getting ganked trying to run pve quests.

Or you could, shocker I know, break out of your comfort zone, and pvp?

If even the new campaigns were sitting pop locked with queues in the hundreds, then yes, they should consider adding more to accommodate the weekend traffic because its going to be even worse. IC is going to be packed too with all the extra people farming those style pages, 2 campaigns for that may not be enough.

Even IC was locked, cp and no cp. Every.single.campaign was locked until around 1 am. CET, and until midnight had w ait times of between 100 and 300 people, even IC had a wait of 10 -20 ppl for me.

You shouldnt assume things. I do pvp. In fact BGs use to consume a good chunk of my play time. I just dont Cyro a lot. Could never get into Equestrian Simulator Online and ball groups. I enjoy good pvp, this game only offers bad pvp. though BGs are somewhat tolerable because it is instant gratification.

One of the reason i said add PVE only btw is because a lot of Pvers will stand around in a campaign safe area and chat and go afk and other things not doing any event or zone related stuff.Last night i counted maybe 2 or 3 dozen such individuals. There was a wait time for the campaign i was in, albeit short. Image if those people just left Cyro instead of "hanging out" and then other people could get in.

Pvers dont know any better, typically. If you stick them all in their own campaign then they can clog it up with their inactivity and let pvpers who go to cyro regularly actually do what they go there to do instead of hang around town for an hour waiting to get in.

We could of course add more campaigns, but the PVErs will still clog up your regular campaigns and you will have to guest in another one. The only way to get them out of YOUR campaign so YOU can play it is to offer them a better alternative. Some will still go to the PVP campaigns but not so many as to clog the queues and cause long waits.

All campaigns were cap locked. At 20.30 I was number 344 in que and I gave up after three quarters of an hour.

This is my free weekend. Son is at his dads, the smallest of the foster cats have finally stopped crawling inside the closet and screams bloody hell when can’t find way back. This is the weekend zos should have won all my love and loyalty back?!

I was just involved in an epic battle for a fort in cyrodiil. It might of been fun if it was not a laggy mess that ended up crashing to desktop with a error report box.

On Xbox we haven’t had any issues. They added campaigns and they were not full until night time and then there was a queue of 13 for the one I am in which took only a few minutes.

That's exactly what I did, and it was great fun.

I mostly stuck to scouting missions on the EU server, since my EU main is so poopy. But if I ran into a zerg of fellow alliance players after I finished a mission, I would join in as they assaulted enemy-held keeps and resources-- and I died, yes, but that just gave me a free port back to headquarters so I could turn in my mission. :)

My NA main is a good deal better-- fairly tanky, but not too good at DPS-- so I mostly focused on scouting missions, but also joined in on assault and defense of keeps. I got into some 1v1 with one enemy player who was obviously much better skilled and better geared than me, but each time they killed me I just rezzed inside the keep and came back for more-- not because I thought I had any kind of chance to kill them, but because it was fun. I felt pretty good that each time I got into it with them, I was able to last for more than 2 seconds before getting melted. I didn't record any of the action, but I think I managed to last for close to 30 seconds against them-- although it may have been more like 15 seconds! :D
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

All but 2 colours in nocp were locked for over 4 hours on PC EU ~ how we supposed to get our event scrolls on our mains to even do bgs if we cant get to the quest npc?? derp zos.

    This...

Absolutely idiotic to hide the XP generating quest in Cyrodiil, when it would be just as easy to relocate Pedicant Whatserface to the Impressario’s tent. But it’s the consequence of using the same system they used before BGs existed and when IC was integrated into Cyrodiil rather than putting some thought in about potential choke points. Then the only way to do PvP was to go to Cyrodiil.

Now BGs are a thing and IC exists as a separate environment, you might have thought a little effort could have been spent thinking about the dubious benefits of keeping this bit of questy fluff locked behind the Cyrodiil queue.

Oh and for those who have done the quest before and lost their scrolls, don’t bother looking for Whatserface in the battleground camps, she’s not there either, although the battle merchants will sell you a replacement scroll if you ask them nicely enough.
Yes, I was doing IC then some told me I needed the scroll active to get the extra reward for the quest.
So I had to leave and then go on to one of the overflow campaigns to get the scroll luckily the queue here was short, I assume many just did one quest. I did too. Was back in today and found I did not need the scroll for quest reward but its nice to have anyway.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
