So is it true the performance update will give the game a smaller footprint on your hard drive and you will need to reinstall the game when it comes out?

Shardaxx✭✭✭✭✭That's for the patch in March. It's unclear whether we need to delete and reinstall the game or if the update will do that for us as part of the update. Personally I'm going to delete and reinstall. You'll need quite a lot of free disk space for this update, but the installed game will be smaller in the end.PS4 - Europe - Shardaxx - Wood Elf Nightblade - Aldmeri Dominion0 -
It's already happened for the PTS. The launcher handles it all, so no need to uninstall, just beware when the update happens it'll take quite a long time lol1 -
Castagere✭✭✭✭✭Ok, so it's already on the PTS but won't go live until march right? Is it true it will cut 30 gigs for the whole game then? My problem with the game has always been its install size. I can run up to 3 or 4 other MMO's on one hard drive but for ESO I can't and I like to play other games.0

GlorphNoldorin✭✭✭✭✭PC is about 15 Gb smaller, console is £)GB smaller I believe, at least that's what pts is size wise for PC.0
