I just made some research in the Google, seems, because there is no according category in Steam support, you need just go to any Steam category "Steam client" or "My account" and there will be "Contact with Steam support" button at the bottom, maybe additionally in some subcategory. Just write your ticket from there, and discribe it correctly, so the one who will read your ticket coulf redirect it to right support department.

Thank you. Now I will write in support of Steam, too.

Maybe Bethesda or Steam begun to consider Ukraine as an European country, without regional prices, plus some ukrainian taxes? Anyway better ask Steam support. But this prices for Ukraine is overwhelming.

    Hi there Traveler,

Thanks for contacting the Elder Scrolls Online Team. Joel here! I understand that you are inquiring about prices in your region.

Customer Support has no hand in region-based pricing and is unable to change it. It would be best to contact the retailer about prices and what they can do about it.

I understand that this may not be the answer you are looking for, but we greatly appreciate your understanding. If there are any other concerns or questions, please feel free to reply back to this email and we will be more than happy to assist you.

    Warm Regards,
    Joel

It's not only Ukraine. In Germany the price for the Digital Collector's Upgrade Edition is 54,99€, which equals to ~61$. Elsweyr Collector's Upgrade Edition was 49,99€ last year.

Thought of buying the Collector's Upgrade this year because of the Thane style, but not for this price. Seems to me they're testing the waters how much they can charge for the upgrades in different countries. US is still 49,99$.

I'm in China working right now so I feel the pain...

I use my US account and send the crazy amount of local money to Paypal then buy using Paypal and its awesome fees as a transaction tool since I have no other option.

There is nothing quite like dropping a large chunk of your monthly salary on a game to get things flowing smoothly with your girl because you can't do the local version due to the language options and usually bullcrap region restrictions.

It could be that your central bank doesn't have sufficient US dollar reserves, so Bethesda either has to go to greater expense to exchange your local peso to dollars, or hold your peso and be sufficiently ahead to weather any drop in your currency before they can cash it out to dollars. It could be something as simple as a liquidity issue, just my guess, that or their marketing people missed a row or something in their global currency chart and misaligned it with west african francs or something.

And therefore overpriced steam version and not overpriced non-steam version? Really?

So, all Bethesda products are the most expansive for Ukraine now. I still can't figure out, if this is new Steam regional pricing policy to f* up Ukraine so much, or if this is on Bethesda here. All I know is just recently we had half the price of US on most deals, and now we have +30-40% above.

After many requests I'm finally got an answer with something, that was NOT endless "Bethesda Customer Support has no say in adjusting these prices" but "we truly hope that this can resolve some of your worries today" ^^

    Steam support:
Yes, exactly this. "Steam doesn't set the prices for the games". Just as I said.
It's the developer/publisher's decision. Or lack of decision to check and control things, or indifference.
But we'll see, I guess, as they answered something reasonable in support.

A lot of players from India are getting irritated too, for us Greymoor standard upgrade is 60% more expensive than Elsweyr. If Zeni doesn't do anything then for most of the players here it becomes a very significant purchase (more expensive than AAA titles). People are talking about waiting till September / October when it's discounted by 50%-60% (the discounted price will be closer to Elswyer pre-order price).

This is a simple oversight from Zenimax, if one compares Greymoor prices across various steam countries then you can see that countries like China have it 60% cheaper than us.

Time to get a vpn then.

“We do not set prices” and “this is Steam mistake" yeah?
It took more than a month but I finally got the answer:
