Hey ZOS, why did you guys declare a war on stuns?

2 stuns have been heavily nerfed this patch alone. This game used to have so many stuns. Now mag has 1 class stun which some are wierd and unreliable, flame clench which is okay i guess, mages guild rune which is almost never used and now vamp drain which must complete the full cast. Stam has a rune fear and off balance which now has a 15 second cool down making it unreliable. Some classes have a stun as well but are not that reliable
Why are you nerfing anything that has a stun?

    They should just give the stun back to dizzy, flame reach etc. Vamp drains a bit dodgey tho it needs to change but they r making it useless now.

    I'm dumbfounded as well. Stunning is the core of PvP, without it literally no one really has to die ever in the game.

    List of stuns nerfed in the last few years: flame/shock reach, javelin, fossilize, vamp drain, dizzy swing, reverb, rune cage, incap, frags, fissure, draining shot, dawnbreaker.
    If you add roots and snares: ice wall, sacred ground, ardent flame.

    Bad players complain about stuns because they are key to getting kills in pvp.

    This is (bad) player driven.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    The number of stun QQ is the reason why. People who are loud are often heard

    because dev now realize some of the skills are pretty cheese and not healthy / make the game unenjoyable.

    just get over it.

    player opinion still maters, but let the dev decide at the end, players sometimes right but most of the time biassed.

    anyway i know you compalin about vamp drain, and im support the change.

    the only option is this pts version or make it into a 1 tick only with 3/4 damage.

    I don't and have never used vamp drain, but if you seriously think the change made sense, you have no clue how crappy it really is now. It's the most telegraphed stun in the game now. 0 reason to use it.

    I don't and have never used vamp drain, but if you seriously think the change made sense, you have no clue how crappy it really is now. It's the most telegraphed stun in the game now. 0 reason to use it.

    when you use accelerating drain, it almost the same damage as using 3 force pulse if the cp value are balanced with way less magicka cost (1:3 cast)

    SO in fact it is a spammable dps ability.

    did you know this gane do not like any stun in high damage spammable skill, right?
    it is also an instant and pierce through roll dodge.

    you will understand the strugle if you play pvp and a guy or two spamming this while you get out numbered, or getting chased by zerg.

    it is a high damage, instant stun, pierce roll dodge, 12m range.

    Because their current fave bff is Templar as it has 2 stuns (1 which is a gapcloser btw),snare on aoe skill, damage skill and self/enemy buff/debuff and built into a passive I think.
    Oh and now they buff sustain on aoe skills so yaay for Templars

    Again, I'd love to see those who QQ about stuns play any game where stuns are actually a threat. Just as the cost of stunning is high, the cost of breaking those stuns is high, and there's a very real possibility of getting chain stunned and stun locked, unable to do anything except wait it out. Pretty damn sure they'll change their tune pretty damn quickly.

    They need to put the stun back on shock clench if they're deleting vamp drain.

    So many players complained about "CC meta" and wanted to have a magicka break free and now we have this CC nerf all over the ground cause ppl refused to Run more then 9k stam and use their brain.

    "If I play PvP".. seriously. This forum just assumes someone doesn't PvP anytime there is a disagreement. I understand what it is on live.

    I never said the live version didn't have problems, but the changes to the ability just completely kill it, yet you said you support it? Why, because it took you out on live, your happy to see it die? I said "It's the most telegraphed stun in the game now. 0 reason to use it." I don't even use it, but I can understand it sucks now.

    It needed to be changed, it was changed in the wrong way.

    You may have misread the patch notes, they just lost their "snare built into a passive". It now provides 10% block mitigation instead.

    Perhaps you should take off your tinfoil hat. AOE cost standards were too high at 1.66x a spammable. 1.33x the cost is the new standard that affects ALL classes.

    some things need to be changed but the way ZOS change things is just a killshot .
    simple solution to vampire drain animation cancel was to make it stun after 1 sec of drain but they had to make it 3 so no one could it ...
    there is no middle when it comes to zos ! they don't know 5% 10% , they just go straight up to 30% 60% nerf or buff so in
    conclusion you have something either OP or useless
    it's not just stuns this is what they always do , either it's a good skill or set that you can use or ZOS already destroyed it by stupid nerfs ( not normal nerfs , stupid nerfs ). just *** stop

    If you listen carefully to forum feedback everyone’s always in agreement:

    - buff my stun
    - nerf everyone else’s stun
    Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
    LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
    PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
    Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
