So I guess the griefers and complainers got their way. Now if I want to play no cp , i have to deal with even more nonsense than we already have to atm. gg

New PvP Campaigns
Four new PvP campaigns will be opening with the launch of Update 25 and are all appropriately themed with the Dark Heart of Skyrim. All existing campaigns will be shut down, and players assigned to these campaigns will be granted End of Campaign rewards, in addition to receiving a free Campaign Reassignment. The new campaigns include:

Blackreach: 30 day CP-enabled, Non-Alliance Locked
Ravenwatch: 30 day No CP, Non-Alliance Locked
Gray Host: 30 day CP-enabled, Alliance Locked
Icereach: 10-49 Campaign

Its already a pretty toxic atmosphere, all this is gonna do is make it unbearable just like it was before they put faction locks back in. Fantastic.

This change for non cp is going to be absolutely terrible. On PS4 na we already have some people with double accounts (have seen random guys setting up a scroll leading the scroll to red people so reds could pick off blues for ap).

Now we have to be punished even further where people can alliance hop and ruin the fun even more. So glad I decided to return after a few month break to see this change and the BG being solo que now so I can't even que with my wife anymore..... Lol

Oh no, we can finally play with all our friends we made across every alliance and play all our characters, OH THE HORROR. By the way, theres an alliance locked campaign still, if you want to play with locks. ;)
Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

Only a locked CP enabled campaign. Again no choice for those who like no-cp. But nice try😉

No argument there. I've always said we need equal campaigns across the board. The no-cp crowd had been left without a choice again, while those of us that like CP have a choice.

Trying to make the 'ol switcheroo like you did doesn't do no-cp players any good as there's never been a choice for you. The argument is only valid for CP campaigns 😉

YAYYYYYY! THANKS ZOS, WE APPRECIATE YOU ALLOWING US TO PLAY THE CHARACTERS WE CREATED! WE'RE AWFULLY SORRY TO EVERYONE THAT WE DIDNT MAKE THEM ALL ON THE SAME ALLIANCE LIKE SOME PLAYERS BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE ABLE FORCE US TO DO, BUT WE SURE LIKE BEING ABLE TO PLAY THEM.

Finally gone man. It was so frustrating to be locked away from friends and even whole guilds due to this change. Hope it will come to all camapigns again.

Not everyone has all their characters on the same alliance due to not having the All Races/All Factions

Ye, not having maybe 10% less trolls in chat is definetly worth it to cut players from their cross faction friends/guilds.

I you really so butthurt about some trolls in a video game then just turn Off the chat or dont play at all. Every online game has trolls and faction lock wont prevent them from trolling you.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can we get some clarification WHY this was done? The two most populated servers, more popular than when faction lock wasnt a thing, on pc eu are the locked ones, we have had a dramatic decrease of trolls in chat, and in game, and that atmosphere was all around more pleasant with locks on, all this does is tell the trolls its ok what they are doing. People that didnt have their characters in said faction could always wait till a new campaign and switch, now however we will be forced to endure these toxic people , without a choice to avoid them. And the block system is a joke in this game since they can still see what you write, so thats also not realy an option because their troll buddies just copy and past what they write.

Actually it did, the trolling and toxicity was way way way down since they implemented the lock. You and your friends could always make new toons and switch factions at campaign end, we however will have to endure these sociopaths now at all times. And yeah, lets turn chat off in avava, thatll work out well. I guess you are of the mind that online harassment isnt that bad?

My experience was the complete opposite, the "faction loyalist" were significantly more hostile and toxic towards anyone not playing by their rules. I've a nice collection of ragewhispers from completely random people who would go full ballistic on me for writing something that weren't related to the "AvAvA" (and we are not talking about anything hostile or highly inappropriate stuff from my end). And having randoms jesters in zone chat adds flavour to a campaign and I wouldn't call that "trolling" if you ask me.

I'm super happy that the locks are gone from nocp, couldn't have asked for a better change.

NO-CP on PC/EU was pop locked during primetime before the faction locks were re-implemented with Elsweyr however. If ZOS wanted to compromice things they could add a cooldown on how often you could enter as another faction, but not sure how such a feature would be implemented.

There is a reason the facton locks were put in place , zos said themselves it was to curb the harassment and trolling issues, it did, to a point. But sure, lets side with the harassers. Excellent company to keep.
