So magicka classes may not have an okay CC available to everyone, but stamina sure gets to keep the undodgable, unblockable Turn Evil. I don't think this was the right decision. As others have pointed out, some classes rely on the CC.
Also, I have the feeling the usual suspects will still complain about the damage.

Sad...I guess we have to use unpredictable Volcanic rune now ? Everyone will probably have to slot Flame Clench again the only remaining hard CC for magicka soon to be nerfed too

I tried that monster helm. It's garbage.
You can't dodge it, but you can block it.
It also takes 6-8 seconds for it to proc its silly animation.

I imagined it would be garbage. Let me know what you think of the Blastbones improvements if you can. I won't have the time yet to go on PTS.

I haven't been able to test it against another player- however, it should be more effective now that it can instantly leap to the target 2.5 seconds after you cast the ability. It doesn't seem as buggy when attacking from a distance, but it gets a little confused against 0-6m targets...it still acts like a "pet," so LOS and awkward terrain still affect it.

It's been a while, but some of the most fun I ever had in PvP was back when I used to grief the hell out of people with drain. Malubeth, Green Pact, Plague Doctor, Nord. 70k health. 70k Blazing Shield Templar.

I was solo and I'd still be virtually unkillable in 1vX due to how fun it was to just spam drain. People eventually just gave up.

Put it this way, I tanked Feng and his groupies one time like this for several minutes while two NBs wiped their group. 15 vs 3. Hardly zerging.

That was years ago - and only now in 2020 are people whining about it. It was a very specific skill with a very niche use. And because some people can't L2P, here we are..
