Should Group remain Broken in Cyrodiil?

Just making this because it seems like people are liking how Cyrodiil was playable without groups. What are your thoughts on it should not grouping in cyrodiil be a feature or no?

    I like how you are assuming there are no groups running in Cyrodiil. One of my guilds is currently using discord voice to co-ordinate a large group. I'm pretty sure, other pvp focused guilds are doing the same.

    Its just pug groups, that are having issues, without access to those guilds.

    Cyrodiil suffers at mo in my opinion due to the fact unlike the PvE side it forces many more players into the same instance and cant cope, in PvE you simple load to a seprate instance, make PvP a seperate server

    No some sets and skills rely on you being a group for them to affect others.

    That and I mainly just join groups so I know where the actual fighting is happening. If your not in a group by the time you ride out to the little icons on the map showing you where something is happening its usually over with when you arrive.

    Ultimately it has little to do with me (I'm not a PvP'er) and if it helps solve the lag problem for you guys... great?

    I just don't see them doing that because Cyrodill is supposed to be Group v Group. It's a war zone - hence the large scale PvP.

    I don't have much stake in it though.

    As solo player, I of course will be happy if there were no groups at all :D but this will be selfish, so I guess limiting group size to 12 would be an adequate move from ZOS.
    I usually play Cyro on day-offs and it is pretty clear how performance drops when ball groups appear near the evening.

    So I can track if they are dead on map, if they are killed on bridge or gate etc

    We play in a group of maximum 8 people.

    We stay away from ball groups of 20 plus and zergs because then we can actually see a fight to the end without blue screening, lag, loading screens or just getting kicked from server.

    You cannot get near a fight of 60 plus without one side winning from sheer numbers being the survivors of not having blue screened, lagged or kicked into a long loading screen.

    Breaking up the larger groups will ease up the instance pressure on the server. Simply because less calculations will be required to cover such large group buffs and debuffs, aoes effects etc...

    Pretty sure most decent sets or buffs/ debuffs only cover a limited number of people in a group anyway ....?

    The smart healing required for the server to calculate is a huge drain too...so stands to reason, if you want to control these issues....reduce the group numbers.

    I get a lot of guilds want to group in large groups but to be fair...you have guild channels you can use to co ordinate from...I don't see any real penalty there for them but benefit in the long term, once adjusted.

    As much as I like the sounds of the improved performance, Cyrodiil has always been about grouping; either via premade or pugs.

    As other people have suggested, maybe limiting the size of the groups may help?

    Just adjust the max raid size to 12-16 group play is essential to Cyro, not to say you cant play solo if you're just looking to kill d00ds

    Beacon your inner light, healing yourself or a wounded ally in front of you for 1233 Health. Also heals one other injured target for 410 Health.

    The joy of Cyrodiil is the ability to do anything from solo play to small group to large group etc. Performance needs to be fixed at the base code level, not by removing player gaming options.

    It would be great to see an extra campaign added which is no groups allowed. Then if people weren't feeling the performance, they could choose to go into there. Would give people the option, best of both
