I had this problem at 1 point. But it was an add on I think War Legend group frame was causing it but he fixed it. so idk what it could be now? If you had any add ons you use might help if you post which you are using.

I do have moments when my character fails to respond to any and all attack commands (trying to use skills or basic melee attacks with left click). Double tapping Esc usually fixes it, but it is annoying when it occurs.

Pressing ESC usually fixes it for me.

Down to minimal addons just FTC, had to remove Multiquest tracker as I found tracking too many quests at once caused a fps hitch 75-99fps glitch to 1fps for few millisec when the compass updated quest position. Seems ok with one quest being tracked at a time but with loads of quests the fps hitching was insane but thast a little of topic.

But for sure Comat sometimes glitches my abilitys and nothing fires off even waiting few min or so. /reloadui fixes it but must try Esc key twice as someone else mentioned its abit safer than /reloadui with 3mobs on you

Yes, I often have this problem without influence of CC, and without any indication of server lag. I suppose it may actually be server lag, but it certainly doesn't feel that way since everything else works.

It just seems to hate when I want to use certain instant abilities, like my knockback spear or one of my heals. My husband is also playing a templar, and could attest to the number of times one of us has said, frantically, "Why can't I attack! Why can't I attack!"

It is ridiculous to nearly need rescuing when:

• you have full magicka
• your toon is fully mobile and able
• you're not sprinting
• you don't appear to be lagging

...but your abilities just don't work.

It doesn't happen constantly, but frequently enough to be distressing.

edit: Oh--and neither of us is running mods. Not one.

This happens to me as well. Not only can I not use abilities, but I cannot click to swing my swords, block, or interrupt. The only thing I CAN do is move using WASD. Pressing E to interact with anything while this bug is occurring is also affected and cannot be done.

Yes this happens to me regularly too, where I can't do any kind of combat either with skills on the number buttons or with mouse clicks. I don't have any addons and never have.
The fix I've found is to hit K to open the skills menu and then close it again. That seems to reset the ability to use combat skills again.

I've been experiencing similar issue as of late.
Another issue is that if you have casted something like an arrow and then you switch weapons while its still in the air it just vanish and dont hit the target.
Truly annoying.

OMG that happens to me so often.. i have died (i have lost count now) so many times due to that. I would for example, dash in, hit the mob once, maybe twice and then ALL combat stops working. I can't use my mouse button to make my toon swing at the target, nor do my action bars work. ONE thing that did work is typing /reloadui but by that stage, i am almost dead anyways. It is so irritating. The other day it happened to me 3 times in the space of 10 minutes, and then other times, not for an hour or two, but it happens so often that its getting very frustrating. I hope they fix this issue real soon.

This should be a priority bug to fix. It's a game breaker for me and makes me not want to play. Happened about 20 times today. I experience both the walking bug and combat stops working.
