Soloing Dungeons is Bugged

    This is a really bad idea, for the reason you have already discovered. Don't do that.

    If you need to port out of the dungeon while still stuck in "combat", a much better option is to queue for Cyrodiil (works at all times, even when in combat) and just use the wayshrine to leave Cyrodiil as soon as you are transported there.

    also another idea is to enter the dungeon through the main door, and then ask a friend that is questing/fishing or something to change difficulty to vet then back to norm every round

    Since there is already a system in place to allow players to leave a dungeon, even in combat, it makes me wonder if they couldn't just add a "leave dungeon" prompt or option at the end of each dungeon. I know some have exits, but others don't. We're long past the days where the doors into these dungeons actually meant anything anyway. Even if I use the door to leave, I'm not placed at that entrance on the world map.

    So how about a button to leave dungeon when it is complete?

    If you want to avoid this bug and skip content, kill the first boss and the adds in the room with him. Just pull him to them and let die to your aoes. They'll drop at the same time and it only adds about like 3 seconds more maybe. Afterwards run out the room and jump straight into the waterfall. Do not keep going towards the goblin companions. Swim over to Kragh, turn around and kill any mudcrabs that followed you. And THEN kill the final boss. Once you kill him, you shouldn't have anymore aggro. And can do whatever you want. Jumping in the water is important because the water will reset the aggro of the mobs in the other half of the cave and avoid the goblin companions that join up with you shortly after it. One of those two groups is causing your bug, most likely.

    That's how I did it. A bit late but good to know for next time an event involves killing the last boss in a dungeon.

    There's probably a swarming mudcrab scurrying around trying to catch up to you.

    Or one of your goblin “pets” is stuck in a wall with mudcrab aggro.
