All I have to say is warden changes better not be real lol. Shalks already hits so hard and permafrost is already way overloaded in the game lol. (Major protection for minor defile was deemed too op on pirate skeleton but a group major protection that damages and stuns is perfectly fine) now you want to give it a 63% damage buff and something else? Lololol

That does sound like a zos move though.

FOR THE LOVE OF ESO PLEASE GIVE MAG DKS SOMETHING. WE HAVE TO USE 4 SKILLS IN A ROW TO GET A SIMPLE BURST, AND GIVE UP MOST OF OUR HEALING IF WE WANT TO DEAL COMPETITIVE DAMAGE.

ZOS, please stop trying to fight 1vX, it happens because you have to dedicate your gaming time to ESO mainly to get good at this game. It's not good players fault that other players play this game once a week and get Xed. With 5 years of changes people are still getting Xed, it's not just imbalance causing this. No one is gonna pick up the game and X consistently first few months, only once you have learned the way. Stop listening to bad players on the forums who are mad that they're not as good at PvP, and instead focus on ensuring each class has a proper toolkit.

Seems like patch notes leak have been going around again.I wonder if this is the start of a new tradition. Seems like it might be true but it might not be its possible someone broke nda. I guess the people not liking vampire drain are getting what they want if its true.

Well we will have to compare them with the real deal its possible they are fake. But they kinda look legit but they could be not legit. Or her meaning of fake meaning not posted officially. Who knows when it comes to this. We will see what happens. Last time this happened it was a legit thing. The leaks were true. Maybe this time they are not but knows know until we get the official ones.

I’ve always championed removal of class reps, this is not a derogatory post, nor a troll, nor is It meant to enraged or upend conversation.

The class reps (although knowledgeable) can’t possibly consider all the moving parts of x class — also everyone has their own agenda, so some things might not be vocalized, or things that might be vocalized aren’t necessarily what the class needs changed. I’ve yet to hear from any class rep nor have any my guilds. Now those class reps that are part of bigger well known groups are basically pushing their vision (whether taken into consideration or not).

In my opinion Combat DEVs should have a clear vision (which they have expressed contrary to what many people consider head scratching changes). And they class reps are the equivalent of too many chefs spoil the broth. Also it eliminates scape goats.

That being said, these changes could very well be real. Who knows. The last “leak” was met with huge speculation and turned out to be true.

It's obviously fake.

It says "changed X from A to B" like a normal person would say instead of the ZOS way "changed X to B from A".

Some of them look like something zos would write and do. If they are fake they are very convincing that is for sure. We will have to look at the new pts patch notes which might come next week. Given the post does seem to have the nda thing. This might have been information given under nda. Meaning it was a breach and they are trying to damage control it. The fact that Gina herself closed the thread. Does seem to suggest they are paying attention to what is being said on the forums. They could be fake like she said and she posted to clear it up. I think they are really trying to keep things under wraps and want to announce it what is coming next themselves. Last year was really messy for them. Not only did they have the leak was the racial passives patch not sure but I think that was the one but also the dragon content was datamined days before they were set to announce it. So I think they are better prepared and have learned their lesson from the last time. So we will see what happens.

This happens because the devs have lost all the credibility when it comes to making sensible balance changes. Even if it's fake, ppl are inclined to believe it based on how dumb these "leaks" look. The less sense the notes make the more credible they look, ZOS have earned such a reputation.

The leaked patchnotes for U23 have been deemed fake as well but in the end we’re reality, they were just outdated.

If someone leaks tens of pages of patch notes they’re most likely early versions and yes, indeed true.

No, Gina closed the thread 10 minutes after the Combat Update thread. Which was posted 6 minutes after the fake patch notes. Not enough time to have been written as a response or damage control.

The thread that Gina closed seems to be a pretty obvious fake. If this is what this thread is based upon I'm willing to say that this is indeed just someones fake.

The writing is nowhere close to the way Gina structures sentences. And I've never seen her use "~" sign. She would always write "approximately" in such cases.

There is a pretty obvious giveaway that notes are fake too. Read the change to "Master Assassin". Minor Brutatlity and Minor Sorcery are class exclusive group buffs, they won't be popping up on some random passive like that.

Oh, and of course the fact that the most atrocious term ever that ZOS in their endless wisdom came up with - "kiss-curse" - wasn't featured even once in the whole post.

Pretty sure we had the ~ in the leaked patch notes for U23 as well (not the final version that was posted though, the initial PTS version that weren’t made official yet).

Could also be explained by who is writing them up. They are not a small company per say they have many members to their team and some of them might post notes or give notes to other members. So Its not just Gina that types the notes but she does have her own style and flair to make them look fitting for the final posting. Everyone writes differently and uses different terms so there is a unique style everyone has. We can change things up for sure. If we wanted too but there is common variations between each persons writing style so just because Gina herself didn't write it does not mean that someone else at Zenimax didn't.

Its possible before Gina herself posts the official ones that many of the team members give her the notes of what they have done She copies and pastes them and then fixes up some details and updates them. Going by what others have given her including updates to what they are doing.. Its a team effort so its not her doing everything. Doing it this way makes it easier and also more time efficient. so I would not be surprised if this is how they do it. Its possible other companies do this as well.

I hope they are fake. Despite a few changes being ok, some of them are downright dumb. I just wish they hadn't lied to us last time when they told us leaked notes were fake or I'd believe them. But nothing to do but wait and see either way.

Might be. And if what Seraphayel says is true (I really can't be bothered to go look up the leaked notes from August) the writing style thing can be explained.

But I still find Minor Brutality and Sorcery popping up on random passives highly suspicious.

What might be the case though is that someone took actual leaked notes and added some changes they came up with to them.
