Tips for fast vCR downstairs crystal clearing?

Seems I got assigned by my raid leader to be vCR eternal downstairs runner. +0 is going smooth, so we switched to +1, and number of crystals increased.
I need tips to improve the downstairs clearing. Most of the time it depends on rng and I dont want that, I'd like to have some control how much time it gets to reveal the orbs.

Some info:
-I play breton magDK
-My build: Perf False God, Willpower, non-perf AS staff, vMA staff, Slimecraw, Thief mundus
-I ele drain crystals myself. Tank could do this, but our group is not very experienced yet and letting them drain proven to be risky
-I typically cast Entropy and Blockade on one crystal, then switch my dots and Force Pulses to another.
-No problems at all with survivability, Coag is very reliable heal.

Tried to search for some guides, but none of them say anything beside 'kill them fast'

Wall is stronger under the crystal you are using spammable on (read vMA staff ability...), i still think tank should be the one draining, if tank has hard time doing it try slotting barrier to give him when u enter so he can drain them all before first aoe (i have no experience there as a dd but as tank in +3, the barrier i was getting gave me the freedom to stay on my frost staff after taunt and draining all the crystals through block. (Incase of stacking zemaj heavy and the Oblivion dot i would pop a potion to easily shrug it off while draining).

Also try to ask for warhorn and prebuff channeled acceleration before heading in. Thats about it for what i can think of.

The tank ideally should be doing it. It's a dps/time loss to do it yourself. Have you and the other dps start on the crystals near zmaja and respectively work in opposite directions; you go left, they go right, etc. The tank can ele the crystals closest and makes it easier.

Also, ideally as a mag dk, you should be upstairs the whole time. I've subbed on portals as dk, but you really shouldn't have to be down there if you don't have to.

Have the kiting healer call out when the shards appear upstairs. "Running to first shard. Sent down." Etc. When you hear "running to last shard", stop dpsing crystals, because they're all revealed. One of you can start running them if there's 2 cores revealed while the other keeps on crystals. Having 3 cores revealed hurts everybody, especially the tank.

Run 3 single target dots (class dot/soul trap/clench/degeneration). You can cast multiple dots on the same target so cast the 3 dots on each crystal you’re assigned to. Dropping a ground dot like wall also works but only for a single crystal, obviously don’t recast the ground dot.

This gives you maximum dps downstairs.

I haven’t run it this patch so not 100% sure since the dot nerf if this is still optimal but I imagine it is.

magdk shouldn't be going downstairs at all tbh. i guess for +0 it's not a big deal, but if you ever start adding bosses you're going to have a big problem getting to the jump pad when there are less of them.

Just pull the build from 4D’s world record run yesterday. The logs are public, and they have a MagDK doing portal. https://www.esologs.com/reports/9QtBRV6z7gA8FHnd#fight=last&type=summary

Pretty much all bases covered above: DoTs, coordinate with other DD, and a build

Though, if the tank is not ele draining I would think about whether it's even worth it to do it yourself. Major breach roughly gives 5280/660 = 8% more damage. Considering instead hitting each crystal with an additional DoT: 2 to 3 (50%) or 3 to 4 (33%).

My suggestion would be to drop asylum staff, the non-perfect version is just not worth using, it is to weak. Instead change it and the willpower for mechanical acuity. When you get the perfected version you can use that with willpower, or go with camohunter front bar and use acuity+pfg+asylum staff.

Drop down, dot one crystal move to the next. Make sure blockade is under the one you are hitting with your FP. You have to figure out what works for you then it becomes the same every time. You need to get 4 (if you ever want to do +3) crystals down to around 10% health before the first jump phase. That should be your goal. Do not fully kill them. Only finish them off when you jump down the first time. As if you uncover the orbs they will keep doing damage to you until dropped at shard. Try to move on the inside of the circle as much as possible as the distance is shorter and you can more quickly change targets, also you have a shorter distance to run to the pad.

Divide yourself with the other DD, one going clockwise the other counterclockwise.

Tank should really be applying eledrain, but if that is not possible you need to do it, otherwise you will run out of mag.

If resources are a concern I would run consuming over ele drain.
