Templar is op AF atmcompared to the other classes. Anyone who says otherwise just doesn't want their ez mode taken away.
Templar is strong for reasons other than the class itself. It’s just the class that has benefitted the most from the standardised approach taken by the devs with regards damage, healing, etc. It’s more to do with base scaling mechanics than the class itself. It’s toolkit just kind of shines this patch due to how healing and Crit healing works in PvP compared to Crit damage. But this thread is more about the broken mechanic of toppling charge not about the class itself and wether or not it needs a “nerf”.

After looking I can’t find which update it was that they added the mechanic back , maybe someone else does. I do know with the last chapter they removed snares from gap closers but that’s not the hard snare we’re talking about.

So if you cannot find it then it was never added back at all. The forums are pretty easy to navigate through on finding old and new updates.

He did not ask for a nerf! He's asking for the skill to be looked at! By your response I can tell you did NOT read everything he wrote.

If you want to call it a nerf then sure, but realistically it's a fix.
Hmm very reactionary around here.
OP, I can tell you for sure I have had toppling charge blocked. I've had it not even land because of lag and location desync. I've also seen it stun a second or 2 after the gap was closed. Ive seen the spear come out and my character start the Scoobydo looking animation and not go anywhere. This is to say I believe you have seen what you say, as its subject to a lot of issues, but why not provide video yourself rather than make claim and as others to do so to prove you wrong?
As for the subject of snare in the target when activating gap closers. They did have a thread on it and were going to bring it back but people screamed so they decided not to.
It is my opinion personally that a root/snare, or even a stun on a gap closer is needed at the moment as so many run enough speed or streak, that by the time the gap closer animation finishes, they are almost out of range again. But that is for a different discussion.
