What’s the Highest Possible Speed Build Possible?

So as I was collecting skyshards - again - it occurred to me that I should probably make a build for overland skyshards and collecting resources. Issue is I haven’t really figured out what that build would look like.

What’s the absolute fastest possible build? I’m thinking:

Magblade: concealed weapons + shadowy disguise + 3x swift + marauders haste + ? + steed x7 divines + race against time? Anything else? Would that be the fastest or are there better options?
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

That's easy. 200% of normal movement speed. Can't go faster than that

Not hard to get there, too. Easiest is probably orc with Fiord's and any source of Major Expedition. 50% from sprint, 30% from expedition, 10% from the racial passive and 15% from Fiord's. This even goes above the cap. Can also be a StamSorc with Minor Expedition from Hurricane and wear whatever you want too.

So if I come up to a +100% speed boost I’ve hit the cap?

    So swift x3 = 18%
    Concealed = 22%
    Steed = 10% (17% with divines?)
    Major expedition = 30%
    Maurader’s Haste = 20%
Vampire = no speed loss while in stealth

So I can hit the speed cap with marauder’s haste and say darloc brae or jorvlund’s in stealth as a magblade?

I see you consider it too.

Minor exp? Acceleratin drain on a vamp could help

Hum, minor expedition for a 5 piece looks terrible. Yea, going back and forth between disguise and sneak helps a lot. I use accelerating drain already, I’ll make sure to slot it. Just need to decide between Darloc Brae or jorvlunds.

You can't sprint in stealth. That's only so you don't move slower when you walk forward while crouched.

If I wasn’t so cheap I’d use smugglers and Jorvlund. Jorvlund would make smugglers give major expedition 100% uptime, but who wants to always be using a pot every 45 seconds.

Yea, that’s true. So Jorvlund and smuggler’s would be:

    Concealed 22%
    Swift x3 18%
    Steed 10%
    Major expedition 30%
Vampire speed drain minor exp 10%

Then use cheapy stamina pots and reduce sneak cost plus vampire for 190%. I’d likely be fast enough so using divines would be close to 200%, but really since it’s an overland set there’s no need to min max it that much.

That’s probably the best option. 150% is fast enough and there’s no need to have a pot up all the time.

Drain is a meh idea for a speed build. Finding a mob and standing still for 3 seconds to get 20 seconds of minor expedition will probably not be faster than just moving for those 23 seconds without the buff.

You can hit about 13.4 M/S on foot with the right build, a maxed horse without Rapids is about 13.8 M/S, rapids will get you to about 18 M/S.

There are quite a few ways to do the build for speedy running.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

on crouch and with the right buil, you can sneak faster than running. On NBs that' even faster when using cloak.

I used to have a NB speed build in charge of burning sieges. It was quite fun doing it in front of the enemies, distracting them. They never knew what to do, whether chase the NB or douse the fire. Of course Mass Hysteria was key to survive.

The wording on the skill very specifically says "When the drain ends you gain Minor Expedition". Although can't say that I've ever tried animation cancelling Accelerating Drain. It might give you Expedition even if it was cancelled.

I'd say a skill that does not require a target is always better than one that does for speed builds. And Channeled Acceleration is a pretty great skill.

Breaks stealth too right? I have a feeling marauder’s haste was added as a way for mag builds to hit the speed cap. The set blows and seems under budget, but if you look at it as a way to go from 180 to 200% speed it makes sense.

Don't think rapids break stealth. But you'll have to tune your sustain very finely to sustain rapids on cooldown, constant sneaking and Annulment as well. That's a lot of both mag and stam you will need.

I say try it this way and see if Channeled or Rapids work better for you.

So I finally got around to setting up the build, it works better then I expected. If you have a magblade you don’t use anymore I’d definitely recommend setting it up. I like the survey rewards, but am lazy about grabbing them and I’d say it cuts the time down in half.

    https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildData?id=203729

Darloc Brae’s awesome. Just always be crouching and you’ll have amble amounts of all resources. RAT and Dampen both don’t break stealth, so you just keep dampen up and hit RAT every couple of seconds and you’re at the speed cap.

I would never use this in pvp, hits like a wet noodle but is more then enough for public dungeons, delves and overland mobs.

These sets are cheap, total cost was bank stuff and 15k gold. Transmutation stones is the only real cost.

Burn siege yea, be really cheap and stick around and hide in stealth and not do much.

Wouldn’t work for scrolls or flag games. You can’t stealth in those situations and you’d be way too squishy. You’d have to add caluurion to have any hope of killing anyone, and both darloc and marauders are under budget for damage stats. They’re more sustain or speed based.

After trying darloc, darloc and caluurion might work well. It’s one of the best sustain sets I’ve ever tried.

Gonna try darloc on my argonian shadowscales. Hope no one complains about the "abuse of cloak"

Yea, darloc’s good. I’d try Zaan, Caluurion and Darkoc breaking caluurion with the BRP resto on your back bar. Maybe 2x swift min if you’re thinking pvp with the lover’s mundus.

That’s the funny thing about darloc too. You don’t actually need cloak, just as you’re running right by mobs. Darloc plus vampire sustain’s sneak’s cost completely letting you use RAT and Dampen for speed in the build I linked.

I’d still grab the sneak cost reduction CPs though to make sure you recover stam while sneaking.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
