FIX THE LAG AND DISCONNECTING!

On Weekend past 5pm you can literally logoff from Cyro Main Campaign due to horrifying lag. Break free taking 4-5 seconds, skills not firing, dodge roll locking your skills 3-4 seconds longer then in no lag fights. Everyone i know has those issues. We are all in the same group, playing from different countrys like Germany, italy, turkey, netherlands and france. We all have the same problems with lag and delays. All at the same time.
I am sitting on a 3k Euro PC with a 200mbit/s connection in Germany. 2 hours away from PC EU mega Server.
ZOS officially Said that there are indeed Server Problems. They even cancelled midyear Mayhem cause they KNOW how Bad the server is. There is a Performance improvement plan where they even mention Server Performance and that they want to fix it.
And yet you whiteknights come here and try telling us its OUR System and connection that causes lag? That some hops somewhere are the Problem for the disconnects? I have No words for this.7 -

I do get an occasional disconnect, maybe a couple per day, nothing I can't live with.
Have you considered your internet connection/ISP?

Why don't you go check the technical support for all three platforms and then tell me how many threads are made in regards to how bad people are disconnecting from the game and then say that it's somebody's else's problem
On the front page of PC there are less than 50 comments outside the one that's been open for almost a year and a half. In a year and half that's mustered a whopping 250 comments with a lot from the same few posters.
So out of 100,000+ players maybe a hundred are having issues? This is based on me following your wonderful advice.
It was actually a lot more over a year ago but since people have given up, thats why you see less. But yes, keep white knighting.
How is it white knighting to take advice from a poster and do research? Its not white knighting to find out that research proved you doom and gloomers wrong. Keep screaming at the sky I'm sure that will fix your pc issues. 👍

You play other mmos and they dont have issues? Which mmos are those you speak of? I'd love to hear the list of mmos you play that dont have server issues, lag, FPS drops or disconnect. I cant wait for the list.0 -

You really think they will ever fix it?

All that ZOS ever does is add new content to make money.
They never fix any of the real issues.
It's a mmo and 99% of the multiplayer content is unplayable due to lag.

The latest group finder improvements didn’t totally kill PC EU, so that’s a start
It would be nice if it felt like it was a priority for ZOS rather than an afterthought. But it appears to be crawling its way from diabolical to barely adequate atm, so at least it’s going in the right direction.1 -

Playing solo is perfectly fine, I get no lag at all and as a solo most content is beatable other than VET DLC dungeons and Trials.
I will always buy the expansions because I love the solo content in the game, but due to the lag I hardly ever play in a groups anymore, playing in Cyrodiil in a group with more than 10 players causes massive fps drops and practically makes it almost impossible to play ofc this includes Trials also.
It's just rather annoying that they disregard fixing certain aspects of the game that need to be fixed to bring out new content that really isn't needed.

Spartycuss✭✭✭I thought i was having problems with eso servers too, turns out it was my ISP.. even though i was raving up and down about how bad eso servers are... turns out I was wrong all along, got someone to run a new drop and haven't had an issue since.. No lag or d/c in months.0

I hardly ever get disconnect... or get ISP lag, even though I'm from South Africa, and have 180-220 ping 24/7 on EU.
The lag I am most concerned about is the server lag due to bad optimization on ZOS's end. (The huge FPS drops)Edited by gplumblingnrb18_ESO on January 16, 2020 9:46AM0
